My finals week is next week, but this week is hell week. All of my projects are due this week, so I can meet with my professors to discuss my grades during our final exam time. Too bad, because I have this paper that is absolutely kicking my ass. Plus some key projects with lots of work still left. Ugh.

Oh, and to answer your question, no all nighters this week, but short naps inbetween days don't really count as "sleeping"... :)

I just took my Calculus 3 final and it was unarguably the hardest exam that i have ever taken for no apparent reason. I studies enough and knew how to do all the questions, but for some reason, I blanked out and knew how to do nothing. Ohhh well, I have an A going into that test, so hopefully it will drop to only a B. Tomorrow I have Civilization final then finally Statics and Aerospace on Wednesday. The last two will be fine and dandy. Then I get to look forward to starting my 2 day trip home on thursday! Cant wait!
Good luck to all who have exams and papers due in the near future!

All my finals were last week.

Had one on monday (calculus 152; basically integrals). Easy test as far as i was concernd, only had one that i could not remember how to do. Math was always the easy class for me and i had a great teacher for my HS AP calculus class.

Had 2 on wednesday (USAS and English). Both fairly simple and straight forward. Basically the USAS exam had to do with freshmen introduction stuff and the rules on campus. It was a pretty usless class all around but it did help on some things. The english exam was fine; all we had to do was turn in a paper. If we did not have it finished we had two hours to finish it and hand it in.

Had one thursday (Chem 121). Most pain in the arse class as far as i am concerned. I generally like chem but it was pretty obvious that the "teacher" wasa not that good at teaching. It almost seemed like she was only there teaching because the school funded her research. It seemed like she made thing overly difficult and hard to understand, not to mention she moved way to fast through the information. Chem lab was great but shem lectures sucked.

All in all, exams were fine for me. came home thursday night (12-8) and the first thing the parents have me do is snow blow the driveway. Had not been home 30 min and they already had me doing work around the house. Oh well, food is good and it is nice to be home!!

Lets see I had 2 finals last Wednesday (Manufacturing and services strategies and labor law yeah this was a fun one) , 2 yesterday thats monday (advanced international trade theory (after this test i thought i was running a fever) and management), I have on at 8 AM (Seriously I am going to literally kill this professor for scheduling an 8AM final, but if I like scare him good enough he will probably just have a heart attack ;) Demand fulfillment) 1 on Wednesday (Finance) and after that I am going to get myself drunk

do you guys find yourselves saying any goodbyes to any fellow students you knew in class during finals? or do you just take the final and leave? just curious as to your responses..

I generally just leave but the friends that i did have in the classes i found out had some of the same classes as me next quarter; so i wont never be seeing them again.

Besides aftert finals i had to go get my hunting stuff and shoot something. Mostly that urge jsut came afert chem finals.

funny story, so I recently had an econ test in which I did not know how to do one of the analytical questions, it was only worth two points of 40 ... so I decided to write the following statement

"I don't feel these problems were explained well in class. Having no practice and relying on two examples makes it impossible to learn"

for all the sections except general equilibrium we were given several practice problems and I more or less taught myself / memorized those. For GE we were not and I had skipped that lecture ( ooops) and it was going solely off the notes. So I decided to write this, naturally I got a "partial 1.5 out of 2" for those two sentences ... not joking.

So I took my final this morning the professor put this as the answer choice for not one but 5-7 questions

Which is true
A) 1+1=2
B)3-2=32
C) 2=6
D) A only
E) A&B&C

Whats the right answer i will post it later

My University finals were...

Last Week :D

I had a publications class final on Monday (12-5) at 8 am. I skipped the last two classes in-order to get prepared for my Senior Graphics class which was right after Pub. class. Will affect my grade so I am told. But, oh well.

That evening was the Professional Projects class final at 6 p.m..

Wednesday (12-7) was Book Arts final show. We make books in the class (Gary Frost, Ethiopian, French Fold, Accordion, Tapes, etc.).

And Finally on Friday was the Senior Projects final at noon (we rescheduled because no one wanted to have a 8 am final)

Finals were a week and a half ago. Busted my back studying (no all nighters though, I'm getting too old for that). Had to try to make up for a relatively pathetic performance on the first exam.

I am enjoying the time off from school, still have work and hang out with the wife and kid but it's one less thing to worry about. Next year at this time I'll be celebrating the completion of my masters degree. It's the only reason I'm actually looking forward to turning 30.

My finals are more of the final project type than actual tests. Of 4 classes I have only 1 real test. The rest are all projects. The projects are more fun, but they are a ton more work too. Oh well, 2 down, and 1 to go (due tomorrow). and then my only test on Thursday. Can't wait for it to be over.

You know.. that's a weird situatation.. Cause like in high school, you would always see everyone again. For me, I have a lot of people's screenames and phone numbers from my classes. For the others, well they were just aquantinces. I'm sure I'll see them on campus now and then anyway. There's nothing cooler than being on a college campus. It feels just so.. cool.

Just got my calculus II results back....64% on the final, giving me a 70.02% in the class. Close call ;)

Not that a C is a good grade, and I shouldn't be happy, but after my first 2 tests in there, I thought a D was certain, so I'm content with the grade. No more calculus ever again for me though! :)

Business Calculus should be easy as hell. I would have had to take it if I didn't take calc 1 and 2 (change of majors, long story) and I would have much rather been in Business Calc than others.

Yay for graduating!

Our finals don't start here til next Monday, and the last finals are Friday the 23rd. However, I'm graduating this Saturday :D :D :D and then have one non-comprehensive advertising final next Tuesday (that's right, a final after I graduate!). I had one final project due today (for which I pulled an all-nighter last night), and I've already completed one of my 2 take-home finals. This semester is just coasting to an end - it's great! :D

Art History

I'm going crazy for the three more exams I have remaining this week, all of which I'm worried about.

Tomorrow is Art History. Holy Sh*t, if I would have known the class was going to be like this in the biggining, I probably would have dropped it. I have a Powerpoint set up of 63 works of art I have to know for tomorrow (artist, title, medium, date, and something about it). There's also like 40 vocab words

Been in the library for hours and still haven't even got to the dates or medium yet.

The midterm was like this but less works, and I spent like 10hrs plus in the library but managed to get a B+

Anyone else take Art History? Any advice?

How much would you do for $750? If I get my cumulative GPA up to a 3.5 I will get $750 more in scholarship money. So that's some incentive...

Good luck everyone! It will soon be over :)

When I took calculus I, I had a B+ going into the final my final grade was a D

MATH is not cool...LOL

I hate it....

Some people hate math, some people love it. I am one of those people that love math. I would much rather sit in a calc class then an english class.

I just got all my grades in and i did pretty good as far as i am concerned.

Math 152 (second stage calc class): A
USAS (intro to major and school policy): B
English 110.01 (first level english class): A-
Chem 121 (again, first level chem class): B-

These grades are my overall grades NOT my finals.

All in all, i am happy with my grades for my first quarter at college. Just need to keep up the work and prepare for another long quarter in chem 122...

I HATE CHEM LECTURE CLASSES!!!!!!

I have my HS finals starting Friday and I am not looking foward to them at all. I have AP Euro History on Friday (my teacher said something around 400-500 questions...ugh) followed by Advanced Algebra and Trig (my worst subject...I'm struggling to keep a C). I hate that we only have 7 minutes break between the exams....my brain always hurts after the first one.
Then, on Monday, I have AP Biology and AP Literature. That will be fun. For Tuesday, I have French V. I exempted Gov't; we can't exempt AP classes and I don't have a 95 (grade requirement for exemption) in French or math (though no one has a 95 in my French class).

I'm so worried about Bio, Math, and Euro the most. Those are going to kill me!!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
