Folks, I think it mignt be the screen size, but I have to strech my finders too much to be able to use iPhone Max. How does it work for you?
That’s why I returned it. Just too big. I could actually feel fatigue in my thumb from trying to type one-handed like I normally do, not to mention stretching to reach the screen. The X is already pushing it, size-wise, for me. I wouldn’t go any bigger than this one. And I love it.

My grandma sent me to the doctor today, she was really worried that I was sitting with my hand put in a cap full of ice. The guy prescribed a bunch of things and showed me how to strech my fingers. Lets see if it helps

Have to use 2 hands with the Max to get the full value. The Max is top heavy not the simplest iPhone to hold unless you have large hands

I much prefer 1 hand use that’s why I went back to the 8 non Plus. My pinky shelf and thumb doesn’t ache.

It’s real. The phone is noticeably heavy when holding it up with your pinky.

I experienced this with the X too. The problem with the X is that there’s too much screen real estate making having to stretch my thumb more than it has too 1 handed. I was getting pinky and thumb fatigue. With the 8 non Plus my thumb moves around the screen 1 handed with ease.

What bothers mine mostly is when I use a case that has a open bottom (like the Apple cases), the edge makes it uncomfortable. If I use a case that has full coverage on the bottom it’s much easier on my pinky.

I tried a case with full coverage although it was better I still got pinky and thumb fatigue.

Really think there is something wrong with the design. See how my fingers turn red....they all look like this and they hurt

Working perfect for me. Would never go back to a smaller screen.

Definitely real it’s pretty heavy resting on my pinky shelf.

What? When I hold my phone, my pinky connects with the phone on the right underside almost, not the top... are you balancing your phone on the top of your pinky or something? :) Do you enjoy making people say WTF?

I've spent 5 hours reading non-stop on my Xs MAX. My 5'1 WIFE uses her phone more than I do (she has an Xs Max) and her hands are a *lot* smaller than mine.

That's why there's Reachability. The feature has been in iOS since the 6/6 Plus.

I’ve been using a iPhone Plus since the 6 Plus and the Max feels the same generally. Sometimes I use one hand sometimes two.
I use reachability which helps with one hand use.

Sadly I am not in the USA, so cannot return that easily. I respect the hype around Max and respect all people that love it. I do not, will try to sell and buy XS
