Folks, I think it mignt be the screen size, but I have to strech my finders too much to be able to use iPhone Max. How does it work for you?

Maybe you need something smaller than the Max?????? Or use two hands. ;)

Even the non Max for me is too big. It’s not the build of the phone as it’s not much bigger than the 6/7/8. It’s the screen real estate that I have to stretch my thumb where it starts to ache when I test it on my pinky shelf. Then my pinky shelf starts to ache. I can use the iPhone 8 1 handed with no problems and no aching.

Welp, back to the iPhone 8 for you... :p Luckily (or unluckily) I have freakishly large hands\fingers so it works, but I do have the achy pinky shelf too! Years of playing guitar has also helped with the finger stretching !! :D

Yep happy with the 8. What makes it different than the X non Max is the bezels making it smaller screen real estate so I’m able to use 1 hand with ease.

Bezels don't bother me. I can easily clear the Max screen, but the phone is heavy.

This seems like a built in biological notification that you are using your phone too much.
This!

Though to be fair, many of us spend a lot of time on our phones when they’re brand new and then settle into a more normal pattern after a few days.

I have piano hands thank god. So using my Max one handed has been a breeze.

Yep. With just a bit of rearranging the icons on my home screen, I can easily use my MAX. Two hands is always better, even with smaller devices. No way I am giving up the screen large screen for the times I have only one hand available.

Got to wonder what the OP is doing with his other hand every time he uses his iPhone.

Dumb question have you tried laying the phone in one hand, and using the other hand to navigate the screen? It would be more cumbersome, but less painful
