FiOS - very cool

I'm so envious... I'm stuck with godawful 3008/384 kbps DSL from EarthLink (ugh). My modem loses ADSL sync all the time, resulting in frequent loss of connection for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Been happening for a year. Can't seem to find a fix. Tried switching modems, didn't help. I don't even need to explain how frustrating this is, especially for online gaming where a consistent connection is crucial.
