Used it for a while, tweaked and addon-ed for maximum speed, yet it was way too slow for me. Besides, the Private Browsing feature is awkward, and I find Safari's Coverflow-history search much better. Back to Safari. (Safari has Glims + Adblock + Keywurl). I'm guessing that it'll take for a new version of Safari to be released in order for Firefox to get as fast as the current version of Safari, as always.

actually I think stumbleupon makes too much clutter.

It is, but I found a nice way to make it pretty slick.

You can make it so there is a "SU" button on near your navigation buttons in Firefox, so when you click on it the toolbar will expand and open, and when you click again it will shrink and go away.

To do this right click in between the home button and stop button on your navigation bar, and click customize. Scroll down on that display and you will see the Stumble Upon icon, just drag and drop that to where you want it on the navigation bar. Click done, and now when you've got a less cluttered way to stumble. :D

thanks, looks good!

Found a pretty good addon called Speed Dial, sorta like Top Sites (not as nice) but still not bad. Also got Adblock plus, Cooliris, Google Preview and Download Helper.

What's wrong with Safari? ><"

Safari is all f'd up in version 4. Takes a long time to start loading a page. (status thing stays in dark gray a long time).

I thought it was cos my old 2.16 c2d mbp was getting a little long in the tooth. Then when my brand new 15" unibody arrived, and 3.2 was working fine, i did the stupid thing and installed 4, and now it's all slow again!

Arghhhh! FF is my default browser now.

Using Camifox theme .. nice theme if you haven't tried it. Firefox is a great browser I have to admit. The only one that works with the sites I visit.

this is what I have so far, and I absolutely love SmarterFox, Easy YouTube Downloader and Firefox Showcase.

SmarterFox has allowed me to eliminate the Google search box. Now I have a very clean uncluttered toolbar. Firefox rules:D

Do you really need Noscript if you're on a Mac?

Oops, I missed this one.

My personal opinion is yes. Already because I *accidentally* ended up on Last Measure with Safari and it froze my computer for some five minutes. Also it gets rid of various net analytics scripts that I don't feel the need to run.

I wonder if Firefox will need to update something for Snow Leopard?

not until 2010.

Main thing would be removal of PPC components, or small optimization.

But as long as Tiger and Leopard is still supported by apple, Mozilla will not drop them.
