Firefox fullscreen video in new space

I would like a way to view Youtube videos in full screen mode in a new space/desktop while in Firefox, like how Chrome and Safari do. That way I can just hover my mouse at the top and see the menu bar to check the time, battery, etc. while still viewing the video in full screen. Does anyone know how to do this?

You should open a bug report on Firefox bug tracker. It's a feature that Firefox needs to implement.
