A Japanese site has posted Geekbench benchmark of the 1.3 version.
http://netafull.net/macbook/049781.html

Just when I thought I had decided on waiting for Skylake...

Edit: Posted by sucaj on reddit/r/apple

(It's pointed out that these screens are old news, but after people have started actually receiving and benchmarking their 1.3's it seems the scores are correct)

So are you're going to wait or not? Are you happy with the results?

It's supposedly matching the Macbook Air 2015 i5, which is great! So now I'm leaning towards not waiting!

11" MBA early 2015 with i7 is getting a max of 3351 and 7015 based on the geekbench scores I could find

Couldn't find any i5 in 64bit and in your screenshot it says 64bit for the rMB.

If you're talking about the Russian who posted geekbenches on Twitter that's super old man.

Even if they may be fake, if you compare the increase in performance from the 5y51 to the 5y71, the numbers are almost an exact match.

true: taken from a hungarian "review" video. probably fake.

But very reasonable:

5Y31, 2.4GHz turbo, approx. 2400 max single core Geekbench 64
5Y51, 2.6GHz turbo, approx. 2600 max single core Geekbench 64
5Y71, 2.9GHz turbo, approx. 2900 max single core Geekbench 64

It's not fake... If you do the math, the number line up exactly. It's what I was expecting to see from the 1.3GHz chip that boosts to 2.9GHz. Personally I think Apple should have released the 1.2 and 1.3 only, but what do I know.

yes. Thats what I wanted to say- numbers line up- probably not fake!

BTW- your photos are truly amazing- you are so gifted!!

Thank you, I really appreciate that. :D

Nice pictures. You clearly have an eye for that thing.

For what it's worth, I can cruise your site with absolutely no stutter on the 1.2/512 rMB. I can flick it up or down as fast as I can and the thing just glides. So kudos to you and Apple.

It says 1.2GHz and 1.3GHz, that's impossible. They are two different machines. That's also from the people who said they edited photos and videos and played games but they have no video proof of that unit ever working in the video. It's fake.

That doesn't mean it's fake. Intel doesn't have a official 1.3GHz part so Apple gets binned core m cpus that do 1.3GHz and turbo to 2.9GHz. The software sees it's a 1.2GHz chip based on the CPU code, but it's running at @ 1.3GHz... that's all.

I second that! wow...great pictures and really nice (quick) site! Great stuff, Miltz!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

I'm very happy to hear that... I means a lot. And Yes the rMB is beast for web content.

indeed. so surreal.

:D:cool:

Oh man, just when I thought the art collection in my office was finished...

Perhaps it's time to add to it... LOL That's a very nice compliment. Thank you.

Amazing scenes!

They are stunning! I can't stop looking at them.

Hearing stuff like that makes me want to go out and shoot more... Thank you.

No, it's not impossible. When I run Geekbench on a 1.2GHz machine, it shows it as 1.1 and 1.2. Must be something about how the Core M reports the status. The fact that it shows 1.2 and 1.3 actually makes me think it's more legit.

Ah... I didn't know that. Thats the part that made it untrustworthy for me- so maybe it is legit. They claimed that they ran all the benchmarks without recording video and when they started to record the video they had the machine bricked (probably tried to connect to itunes and apple bricked the thing)

The processor is a 1.2 GHz processor but it is takted as 1.3 GHz.

The Core M is not available with 1.3 GHz.

The same with the 1.2 GHz model. That is a 1.1 GHz processor witch is takted as a 1.2 GHz one.
