The processor is a 1.2 GHz processor but it is takted as 1.3 GHz.

The Core M is not available with 1.3 GHz.

The same with the 1.2 GHz model. That is a 1.1 GHz processor witch is takted as a 1.2 GHz one.

FYI, in EngliIsh, the German verb "takten" is "to clock", so for non-German speakers, your point is that the Core-M base frequencies are actually 1.1 and 1.2GHz, which are clocked 100MHz higher by Apple's implementation.

That doesn't mean it's fake. Intel doesn't have a official 1.3GHz part so Apple gets binned core m cpus that do 1.3GHz and turbo to 2.9GHz. The software sees it's a 1.2GHz chip based on the CPU code, but it's running at @ 1.3GHz... that's all.

Intel doesn't have an official 1.1GHz either, its 0.9GHz. So why don't benchmarks from the 1.1 also show 0.9GHz?

Hey guys I have a quick question, I see the 1.1Ghz vs 1.2Ghz have better single core performance , but less multicore performance then the 1.2Ghz chip.

In real world use with web browsing , streaming , Netflix , and iTunes , and maybe light gaming like hearthstone , what would be better for me 1.1Ghz or 1.2Ghz chip?

I won't ever be using this for any development , photo editing , video editing , photoshop etc...
