First AirTag Orders Shift to 'Preparing to Ship' Ahead of April 30 Launch

I received UPS information on Saturday from China. Now in Osaka. Scheduled to arrive on the 30th.

Ordered one this weekend, still processing but it is expected to be delivered next month by the 21-31st of May. I’m not bothered. This isn’t a product that excites me, it’s just convenient to know I’ll be able to track my keys if I drop them. Which I haven’t done in my 30-years of life thus far.

I ordered a 4-pak on Friday and it went to preparing for shipping the next day. This morning I have a tracking number and it departed from Kunshan, CN arriving Friday. I did engraving on all 4 tags.

My order for 1 says it won't arrive until May 24 - June 1 but I did have it engraved so maybe that's why?
