If you ordered everything on the same order which sent you over the CL, all of the orders will be cancelled and you'll have to fractionally order until you get the denial when you exceed your spending potential. They will not send bits and pieces of orders because that was not the way your ordered it, and it would violate your purchase agreement, as well as put the CC charging authority at a higher legal risk. Since it is with your Apple Card call Apple and make sure the entire order is cancelled, if it is with a non-Apple card call that card service center (800 number on the back) and let them know so you don't keep a large credit hold on your card.
I ordered:
AirPods, Apple Watch, MacBook Air.

I have a pending $2.5k authorization on my Amex.

The AirPods and Apple Watch shipped, but the MacBook Air show the "update payment needed". The email I got from Amex suggested a charge of $800 was declined (which as calculated would be the Apple Watch), but now that the Apple Watch shipped, I don't know what's going on (the Apple Watch charge has not shown up on my Amex either)

I was charged, but the apple order status page won't load.
Same here in the Netherlands, wanted to check the status for the iPhone 12 mini for tomorrow. On the app it doesn't work, but in your browser it eventually loads after taking its dear time.

Waves hand, early adopter here. For $999 why not? The M1 is clearly the future for Apple, so I would rather find out sooner or later if it is my future or if I need to upgrade my Intel Macs before they are gone. If I like it, score! Old air gets recycled. If I hate it, will know soon and then I return it. In the meantime, definitely will be fun or at least interesting. I am not one to sit on the side lines and expect my experience to match others :)

On one hand, I should really be considering being an early adopter here, but I'd really like a 16" MBP with 32GB RAM as a developer machine. If I did get an Air or something like that, it's effectively something I'd be reselling in a year or so, which becomes a more complicated prospect.

Apple gave me a Wednesday estimate. UPS hasn’t provided an estimate yet. I ordered the base 512GB Air within the first 10 minutes.

your in better shape than me....i ordered , couldent get the page to load until 3rd time...shows preparing to ship....but now my icloud email is broken....this silicon mac is already terrible...🤣

I'm waiting for the new iMac, but I would wait anyway to see the impact of 8GB of memory vs 16GB on benchmarks.
I remember how impactful it was on the 10th-gen Intel processors.

You gotta say, the 16GB upgrade is pretty damn expensive. I guess you pay for the RAM miniaturization.
Its apple. You pay because they say so!

Damn my bank screwed me. I made a payment on my card so I'll update the payment method later on tonight. Hopefully my order wasn't pushed back too far.

"UPS beginning to show orders...In transit from China as of today..."

Doesn't transit from China typically take more than just a couple days? Surely Apple is not paying expedited air shipping for a product whose release was planned many months in advance?

I'm guessing shipments have been at sea for some time and are approaching the US west coast.

Edit: After searching, I now see that Apple ships iPhones & laptops via air. I wonder if there are any products that they ship via sea (maybe a lower volume product that doesn't tie up as much working capital)?
Apple has always shipped via air.

This is my second MacBook to have in my possession. I got just the ‘MacBook’ and I think it’s the model from 2015 or 2016. So it’s outdated now. Kind of slow as well. That being said, I still know VERY little about Macs. But I’m learning. I went all out and ordered the new MacBook Pro. Figured it had more than the Air had to offer, so that’s why I went with that one. I surely hope I don’t regret my purchase. I’m trying to get a one on one representative over the phone that might be able to teach me things about my new MacBook Pro. I’m sure I can find all kinds of tips and tricks on YouTube if anything.

Just a few days after Apple's first Macs with its custom-designed M1 chip became available to order, the first orders are now beginning to ship to customers, with deliveries set to begin arriving to customers on Tuesday, November 17.

While most pre-orders are still in the "processing" or "preparing to ship" stage on Apple's website, UPS is beginning to show some MacBook Air orders as "in transit" from China as of today. The new 13-inch MacBook Pro and Mac mini should follow suit soon, as all three Macs with the M1 chip are slated to launch on the same day.
Apple says the M1 chip delivers up to 3.5x faster system performance, up to 6x faster graphics performance, and up to 15x faster machine learning, while enabling battery life up to 2x longer than previous-generation Macs. The chip features an 8-core CPU, up to an 8-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, unified memory architecture, I/O, and more all in one.

Impressively, benchmark results show that the new MacBook Air with the M1 chip outperforms the high-end 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The new Macs are available to order on Apple.com and through the Apple Store app. Pricing starts at $1,299 for the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, $999 for the new MacBook Air, and a lowered $699 for the new Mac mini in the United States.

(Thanks, Fatih!)

my company lawyer has ordered one of the MacBook Air to replace his MacBook Pro 13 (late 16). I can't wait to ask him what he thinks. I doubt his Lawyer specific applications will have upgraded to AS yet though.
