Two questions I don't believe have been asked on this thread:

1. Can you use apple pencil to get around (some concerns about touch-only navigation, which would be stupid)
2. Are completed workouts editable now? I can't tell you how often I've forgotten to turn the damned workout off when I get somewhere, rendering the workout useless because I can't edit its stop time.

Thanks..

So far the Activity app has barely changed at all, which stinks. No editing. I'm installing watchos4 now so that MAY change. However, in the Health app, you can see the maps for your runs and walks. So maybe that's a sign of future export potential at least...?

Nice little addition of a QR Code reader in the camera app. Read a code in the camera and a notification drops down where you can preview the website or open it

Nope, there's nothing. I can't actually tell if my volume is changing unless audio is playing. I like not having the giant square pop up, but I would like something to indicate changes, maybe in the status bar.

That's how Narwhal does it (a simple line) and it's really nice.

No icon labels in dock or bugged? :/

If you go into settings then sounds there is an option for adjusting sound by buttons. Mine was default set to off. After turning this on the volume box did appear when adjusting volume.

Anyone get the watch os beta to work? Ive reinstalled the profile, deleted the profile, restored the watch and it still says I'm up to date... ;(

Well, that's disappointing. I want to know the reason we can't edit that information? I mean, it seems like a curb that's an inch high. Every other platform I've used lets you do it. It can't be that it's some insurmountable obstacle. It's asinine that such a simple thing should still be absent by ver 4 of the OS.

Apple doesn't want third parties to compete with the watch. This has resulted in me hardly ever wearing my Apple watch and giving up on the platform for the most part. The stand data is especially infuriating.

Very disappointed with iOS 11 for iPhone (although it looks better on iPad). Basically the same cumbersome notification system, widgets only on the 1st screen (any new animated ones?) and the same grid/folder layout since the first iPhone. Photos and Maps may be an improved, but now only match what Google has been offering in Android. It may be time to give Android a try.
Brought to you by the Samsung Army. "You say, we pay!"

iOS 11 is not fully importing all my photos and photos albums from iOS 10.3. anybody having problems with Photos for iOS 11?

Beta is EXTREMELY BUGGY, despite very few changes ironically enough.

Don't install if you can't stand springboard crashes, as there's lots!

ALSO, WATCH OS Users, don't forget you can't downgrade! So don't upgrade for 'testing' unless you'll see it through.

Lol your doing it wrong. Ive had no/zero/zip springboard crashes in the past 2 hours

So there is not multitasking or split screen on iOS11 for iPhone? I really want this feature as sometime I need to copy some content from one app to the other, not one time but multiple times.

Looks like it isn’t available on my iPad mini or iPad Pro either....unless there is a new way to use it.

Edit.....watching the keynote now and just got to the multitasking part....I guess we drag and snap to edge now.

Can anyone confirm if the watch can stay on WatchOS3 while using iOS11? I don't like putting betas on the watch but I want it to work if I go with 11 on the phone early.

Can confirm this works fine, I have a phone on iOS 11 b1 paired with my watch on 3.2.2

Didn’t read through to see if anyone else replied. Sorry if duplicated.

It just works different on the iPad (but is not available on the iPhone). On the iPad you swipe up to get the dock, then you drag the app out from the dock on to the screen. Haven’t figured out how to do it with non-docked apps yet.

Yes - it works fine on my iPad Pro - can use the pencil to navigate almost everything - including home-screen icons, safari links, etc. The only thing you need to use a finger for are gestures - eg. swipe up to display the control centre, etc.

Anyone having issues restoring your ios 10.3.1 backup to ios 11 in iphone 6? When i try to restore no data is getting restored..no photos, contacts or apps...anyone can help?

Well, had a good blast on my 12” iPad Pro. Pretty slick but quite a few bugs, which is understandable. One thing is making me go back to 10 though, touching the top of the page in Safari doesn’t scroll you back to the top. It’s doing my nut in, so back to 10 I go.

I’m on the 12” Pro and it still works for me. I have to touch to the side of the clock though.

It's the first developer beta. The sooner you report the bugs, the sooner they'll get fixed.

Does anyone see Apple Pay in the Messages app? I don’t see it on either my 12” Pro or my 7 Plus.
