Defeats the purpose of staying up till the wee hours to preorder. I won't be doing it again.
I'm starting to honestly think of canceling. Just silly that there's no communication on this.
Who are you kidding? You aren't canceling just because it hasn't delivered. Look at your signature line...you own every Apple product. I am pissed that my order is still processing, but why would I cancel because of that. Cancel if you don't want/need the watch, but because it hasn't shipped yet? Are you trying to teach apple a lesson or something?

It's not a matter of teaching Apple a lesson, since that can't be done. Too Wealthy, Powerful, and Revered by millions, Apple does what Apple wants.
I do believe the post simply reflects the natural disappointment when things go as they have for thousands of customers.
I also believe Apple is transitioning away from past practices towards a new launch process that their currently experimenting with. I'm not advocating for this as it seems to be in the early stages. Just sharing my perspective on what's going on presently.
So It seems that even though even some of us laced our orders a few minutes after launch, we're still the last to get them.
Post any update if you're in the first delivery window and are still stuck @ processing.
I don't disagree with the sentiment. My post was strictly to highlight that I really didn't think joshcls would cancel based on this. He literally has ever Apple product made. The boy who cried wolf. He knows he isn't canceling, even though it feels good to say it. I was up at 3 in the morning too and am pissed. The blue sport that I ordered for Friend arrived this morning, but my SS is still processing.
Nope. First come, first served.
You were too late. Your "few" minutes were too slow for people that ordered in the first 1, 2, or 3 minutes.
EDIT: Just realized it's another newbie April 2015 poster. I should have known this was nonsense.
No one is going to accept no watch on launch day when they ordered in the first 4 minutes. BS!
But the fact of the matter is, this is a want product, not a need product
BS. People who ordered days after me are getting their watches today. The exact same model.
lol.
First World Problems.
If we're going to categorize it that way, all of your products are "want products". Hell, everything Apple makes is a "want product". You don't need a Macbook (there's cheaper ways to do all the things you can do on one), you don't need an iPhone (a flip phone is free and will still allow you to communicate with others), etc.

Same model, same case size, same geographic location?
No credit card issues? No cancelled and reinstated orders?

Yes, same model, same case size, no credit card problems. Different states yes, but still in the US. It just doesn't make sense.
