So It seems that even though even some of us laced our orders a few minutes after launch, we're still the last to get them.
Post any update if you're in the first delivery window and are still stuck @ processing.

Defeats the purpose of staying up till the wee hours to preorder. I won't be doing it again.

I'm starting to honestly think of canceling. Just silly that there's no communication on this.

Who are you kidding? You aren't canceling just because it hasn't delivered. Look at your signature line...you own every Apple product. I am pissed that my order is still processing, but why would I cancel because of that. Cancel if you don't want/need the watch, but because it hasn't shipped yet? Are you trying to teach apple a lesson or something?

Have patience, I am processing still and got up and ordered at 12:03 am pst. I wouldn't cancel, I mean think about you will enjoy the watch is the span of 13 days at the most you will get your watch. You will look back and say, why did I stress about something so minuscule. You just have to change your perspective about this, think proactively.

It's not a matter of teaching Apple a lesson, since that can't be done. Too Wealthy, Powerful, and Revered by millions, Apple does what Apple wants.

I do believe the post simply reflects the natural disappointment when things go as they have for thousands of customers.

I also believe Apple is transitioning away from past practices towards a new launch process that their currently experimenting with. I'm not advocating for this as it seems to be in the early stages. Just sharing my perspective on what's going on presently.

I'm with you...I'll BE DAMN if I wake my ass up at 2:45am AGAIN for some apple BS
Not dying to teach any lessons .... I just got better stuff to do..SLEEP!!!!
And yes I'm in that 4/24-5/8 just missed the mark range

I don't NEED this though. it would be nice to have.
Not trying to "teach apple a lesson", never even said anything close to that.
Just wondering if it's worth all the fuss, is all.

I don't disagree with the sentiment. My post was strictly to highlight that I really didn't think joshcls would cancel based on this. He literally has ever Apple product made. The boy who cried wolf. He knows he isn't canceling, even though it feels good to say it. I was up at 3 in the morning too and am pissed. The blue sport that I ordered for Friend arrived this morning, but my SS is still processing.

Nope. First come, first served.

You were too late. Your "few" minutes were too slow for people that ordered in the first 1, 2, or 3 minutes.

EDIT: Just realized it's another newbie April 2015 poster. I should have known this was nonsense.

You're partially right. It does feel good to say.
And, in my defense I never said "I'm going to cancel".
I said I'm starting to think about it. Mostly because I'm p***** off.
You're right, I probably won't cancel.

But the fact of the matter is, this is a want product, not a need product.
After seeing some of the stuff about wifi / FaceTime audio calling, I'm kinda bummed out about the whole thing.

I could be using this $427 or whatever it is, towards something else that I want, right now. I could order something else online, and be fully communicated with on when I'm going to get it and how.

That's my point.
But you're right. I probably won't cancel.

BS. People who ordered days after me are getting their watches today. The exact same model.

No one is going to accept no watch on launch day when they ordered in the first 4 minutes. BS!

My order went through at X:05 and I'm still looking at mid-May delivery. Go through my posts and fine me one example where I'm upset or whining about it.

Grow up.

If we're going to categorize it that way, all of your products are "want products". Hell, everything Apple makes is a "want product". You don't need a Macbook (there's cheaper ways to do all the things you can do on one), you don't need an iPhone (a flip phone is free and will still allow you to communicate with others), etc.

lol.

First World Problems.

Yea I can't imagine what it's like when these people come across real life tragedies

Exactly, people swear they aren't getting an Apple Watch because they don't "need it" but then they probably have a house full on crap they can live without. Makes no sense

Your points are all quite valid.

I can only guess, but it seems someone at Apple got a bit too enthusiastic and ordered an excess of blue bands. The moment I read something that gave me that impression I ordered one.

That was just a few days ago and it arrived with my original order of a 42/SS/Link this morning.

totally agree

completely true, I got a confirmation for 3:12 est for 42mm ss with classic buckle people who ordered it on as late as 4.19.15 have gotten it today.

Oh goodness. You're right.
I don't need most of the things I have.

I'm sorry I didn't word it to my specifications.
I need computers to run my businesses, and a phone to use.
Since it's my business, it's important that I have reliable equipment that I can utilize to efficiently serve my customers.
It's in my best interest to have nice equipment that "just works" for that matter

Yeah the way this played out really ruins the pre-order experience precedent that Apple has set many times before. Obviously they gave us a delivery window right off the bat, but there's no denying that in the past people with made a point of jumping on the store the moment it comes online get to be part of the excitement of the first day rush. Part of the reason I coughed up money blind (instead of doing the smart thing and waiting to actually see in the store and try it on) was because I knew the ride would be a lot of fun… The excitement going to the pre-order window, the waiting, and then excitement going to lunch day. I'm obviously not going to cancel because I still want the product… If I didn't I would not have ordered it. But I can say this destroys my motivation to be part of the launch-day rush in the future.

Same model, same case size, same geographic location?

No credit card issues? No cancelled and reinstated orders?

Yes, same model, same case size, no credit card problems. Different states yes, but still in the US. It just doesn't make sense.

That is unusual unless your order times are very close together based on confirmation email, but the other person's went through first on Apple's front end order system.
