Does it work on older macbook's?

I bought Angry Birds and it's kinda basic graphics, but it runs well and is very responsive with a mouse.

Somebody 'splain this one to me

Here's what I don't understand: How is it that effing Angry Birds (which I refuse to buy on principle) has made 8 figures? Very little else in the app world seems to be selling at anything more than beer money levels. If you were a prospective developer, why would you spend anything more than a week writing an app when you can see how little people make on theirs?

Angry Birds is a just a simple game that appeals to all. Good games always sell, especially cheap ones.

Is it revolutionary? No, but it does take some thought, it's not totally mindless.

Not everyone buys utility apps that may have longer developer times or where harder to make.

There are also games, and this goes for any platform, that are all bells and whistles with huge development costs that simply aren't that fun.

It seems every year, or even every few months there's a "it" game, then it dies down. Angry Birds will die down and the next big thing take the spotlight and the 8 figures.

For iOS developers:

1) There are a lot of apps just below the top sellers that are making much more than beer money.

2) Portfolio. There are companies hiring developers who have proven that they can develop top quality apps (even if they don't become top sellers), and some for consulting rates well over $100/Hr.

3) Some app developers like buying lottery tickets. Which brand new app will pop into the top 25 next month?
