It is enjoyable but you must have a high level of suspension of disbelief, not mind all the plot armor, stealthy characters all of a sudden cant be stealthy, and my favorite "magical dreams telling me what is going on in the real world".

If you can accept that it is your generic but good standard hollywood show.

I watched the whole first season. At first I was impressed by the great production values and on-location scenery. But that first impression was quickly surpassed by disappointment in the quality of the writing and acting. Maybe I'm just too picky.
I agree. On the first season, See's premise, cast, and execution hooked me instantly.

But the first season gradually and steadily declined in quality. The writing went from weak (e.g., "let's pray") to on later episodes, most notably on the penultimate and the season finale episodes that I found anticlimactic, unimaginative, and just ridiculous.

Thankfully, the second season opener pivots the series back to higher quality. While it remains to be seen, it packs potentials, revisiting each lead and filling them with more arc. Baba Voss saying goodbye to his son Kofun was moving, a shade of Game of Thrones. Lord Harlan has the potential to be a suitable replacement for the best character of the first season Tamacti Jun.

The first episode of the second season of the Apple TV+ original series "See" has premiered on Apple TV+, with new episodes premiering on the platform every week on Friday.

The second season of the show will run for eight episodes. According to Apple, it'll include the story of Baba Voss, played by lead actor Jason Momoa, attempting to be reunited with his family. The show's first season premiered on Apple TV+ in 2019 and followed the story of humanity losing its ability to see.

Earlier in July, the second season of Ted Lasso premiered on Apple TV+, with the upcoming second season of "The Morning Show" set to premiere in September.

I’m glad the second season is starting today. I really enjoyed the first

This show seriously won me over. I was very turned off by it after reading reviews, but once I watched the show for myself I fell in love with it! Really an incredible show.

I watched S1 and really could go either way with watching a second season. Maybe when I am bored or something. I don't like the "one a week" model that many streaming platforms are adopting; the greatest thing about streaming is the ability to Binge. I get that live TV has done this for ages, but that was my biggest gripe about live TV in the first place. I canceled Apple TV for now and will possibly get back to it when there's a decent backlog of shows for me to get through. I really do like "For All Mankind", thought that got a little weird at the end. I will be back for S3, if nothing else brings me back sooner.

Love this first episode. Seems to be better paced than the majority of the first season. Maybe they hit their stride?

I really didn’t like it, turned it off after the first episode

Same here. Watched the first episode months ago. Decided to give it another try the other day and watched the second episode. Still not a huge fan. Going to try and stick with it, but definitely not something I'd binge (the first season at least).

Loved the first season and been eagerly awaiting season 2. First episode did not disappoint. as a general rule I tend not to be into watching shows weekly and go for the binge. This is looking like a great season of top notch shows on Apple+.

Why "decorate" yourself if no-one can see it, for example.
They decorate with stuff that makes sounds or smell. Makes sense to me.

But I can't help thinking they'd all just get eaten by the local wildlife.... bears? Cougers? Mountain lions? Wolves? Humans are mostly extinct right? Apex predators would be everywhere.
Wildlife has no interest in hunting a species to extinction though. Snails, Koalas and even Sloths do exist. By your logic those should be extinct since ages.

I'm with you. I just can't get past how implausible that level of society is with no sight. Why "decorate" yourself if no-one can see it, for example.
The entire premise is just ludicrously stupid.

With no sight war is: stumble around until you hear someone. Throroughly check their outfit for identifying marks or ask them for a password. Swing blindly until you kill them if the responses aren't correct. It would go nothing like what the show does.
There are stuffs that you can't do on screen, cinema-wise... ever wonder why most of Game of Thrones fights didn't wear helmets? because it's hard to differentiate and recognize all of them if they wear one. Audience would prolly have to process who they are instead of being immersed at the scene. There are lots of flaws in movies and tv shows, of course. It's up to you if you'll let yourself consumed by criticism, pointing out flows, being wise-ass... you wouldn't be entertained as much as other people do. It's just your loss, actually. You're consuming an entertainment wrong.

Stop. Koalas aren’t real.

Not bad. Now with Ted Lasso, Truth be Told and See, I have ample content to watch on TV+ compared to Netflix or Disney+ (for the moment).
