I hope this movie lives up to the hype. I'll have a look once it makes iTunes

He doesn't look at all like Jobs (…)
That's what i like most at those movies: not copy/paste the visual appearance but show the character and tell the story. why not choosing a woman for that "job(s)" - the story could be great as well…
(just a thought;-)

Does Hollywood have to keep milking Steve Jobs for money? Just let him rip and shut up about him already.

This means Lee Byung-chul, the movie about Samsung's founder, should be released in about 6 months. Its storyline will be identical (they'll just search-and-replace some names).
Normally I’d lambaste a comment like that. But I gotta admit, it’s just plain funny.

Yeah, cast a white guy as the lead role in Roots……... Just ignore his skin colour and focus on the story and dialogue.
There is often something to be said for keeping things as expected.

It's a movie about some guy who ran a technology company? We are not talking statesman, war hero, or some other great figure in history.

The worlds gone totally mad - personally I would rather watch an episode of the Simpsons.
One of the stupidest things I've ever read here. Thanks.

I gotta say I agree with him. He may have had an impact but there are many more people that we could learn more from. The majority of viewers will be Apple fans, not people fans.

The social network was literally perfect. If you want a documentary check out cnns from last week.
Perfect? You mean more over-the-top garbage from the master of self-gratification Aaron Sorkin?

The Social Network is a textbook example of a writer taking what would be a decent documentary piece, and over-dramatizing it to the point it's unwatchable to anyone except a teenager with the maximum attention span of a few seconds.

It's junk like this that has kept me away from theaters for years. I expect this Jobs piece will be another c***** J*** for the folks within the RDF. Can't let anything (like facts) tarnish SJ's image... Stock prices are riding on it.

I take it you were firmly against The Simpsons Movie then as well?

And the words are: "Amaaaaazing!", "Best iPhone evah!" and "It's so thin can you even see it?!"

What an action blast of a movie that'll be!

An action movie driven by words?? What an odd description.

Frankly, I would have enjoyed it if they used some artistic license and portrayed a more "physical" Jobs. Throwing office chairs during temper tantrums etc etc.

Sorry, but if you really can't see the impact Steve Jobs/Apple had on our todays lives.. I can't help you.

Do people need to make these comments just to be seen. Let the movies be and people who want to enjoy them.
Good lord. How many Steve Jobs' bio movies is this website going to fawn over.
As many as there are to talk about for those what want to talk about them.

Don't fall for the marketing hype guys. Same thing happened with the Social Network. Terrible movie with a great soundtrack.
Not to worry, plenty of people liked The Social Network as a movie.
