Also depends on whether it's a corporate store or a franchise store. Corporate stores usually get more than the franchise stores.

Wonder how the 3am go live on Verizon.com website to pre-order and get in-Store pick-up tomorrow am impacts the stock for walk-in’s. You may want to try lock-up that Space Gray phone that way at 3am - just saying

This restriction occurs most iPhone releases. I asked the same thing a couple of years ago and they said they couldn't initially buy them
My local Verizon store showed one silver 64gb available.Ordered online for in store pickup.Will pick it up this evening after I get off work.
I just ordered a iPhone X silver, 256 GB from Verizon with pickup from my local store 30 minutes ago. Waiting for text message letting me know when to pickup.

indeed, I'm an HQ employee and we cant buy iphones (from anywhere) until demand dies down to ensure our customers come first, probably wont have my own til next year 🙁
