Can someone please pop the bottom off and confirm for once and for all if DIMMs are a) easy access and b) something that can be swapped out without jumping through hurdles or having to remove other parts of the machine?

The pictures have been posted. It'll be at LEAST as difficult as the previous Mac mini and it appears possibly a little bit more.

The lack of understanding of time differences around the globe in many of these posts confirms my worst fears about public education:eek:
That being said, I like the Mac Mini upgrade and while the base price is up, so is the performance, by quite a bit it seems (need more data tho). And they even kept the headphone jack and HDMI port...thankfully.

Gosh! I just popped the bottom off the new iPad Pro and now all those pretty colours are running over my desk and stuff. The display went dimm.
*Customary derailing of thread with silly comment* ;)

What was really weird was when it was Dec 31, 1999 in the USA, and Jan 1, 2000 in New Zealand.... you guys..... so last century.....
The 20th century lasted from Jan 1st 1901 to Dec 31st 2000. There was no year 0 AD, so the first century was from 1AD to 100AD, and so on.

I’ve been looking for the answer to this question. So just to confirm, no Apple stores are opening early tomorrow for the launch?

I checked in the Apple Store App my 4 nearest Stores and none of them had „special opening times“ for tomorrow. You better check on the page for the Store that you plan to go to.

Finally!

Are cellular models going to be available? From what I am seeing with the carriers, it looks like Monday. But I want to go to the store tomorrow at 8 Am and see

I pre ordered mine via AT&T and have it being delivered tomorrow. But I spoke to someone at an AT&T store and he said a lot of the bigger newer carrier stores should have some tomorrow for launch day. I’m going to pickup an Apple Pencil tomorrow as well.

I've changed the post, I don't think it looks like most stores are opening early. Standard operating hours. Definitely check your individual store page, though.

If you want some time travel flexibility you can move to the poles. North or South it doesn’t matter. Then you can jog trough the time zones. Not to many Apple Stores there though
