I honestly don't know the answer to that. I don't know how the reverse search engine does its magic. All I know is it works. I caught a car dealership in Georgia using 3 of my photos on his dealership website. He copied them right off one of my pages that contained a large copyright notice.

Nice!

From the tineye.com faq:

When you submit an image to be searched, TinEye creates a unique and compact digital signature or 'fingerprint' for it, then compares this fingerprint to every other image in our index to retrieve matches. TinEye can even find a partial fingerprint match.

Keep in mind the 100 degree heat indexes too. But it cools down
to a crisp 80 in the morning with 80-90% humidity.

If you camp out in that, you deserve a iphone.

Is it me or does every post of Justin's make him a worse person?

At first you let it all slide off like it didn't matter. As the days grow closer and closer to launch you grow more and more short with folks around here.

Lack of sleep?

yeah because you would remain pleasant if people were attacking you, calling you a geek, criticizing, and all this other stuff on a forum

people who dont even know you or your situation no less.

+1

Constant personal attacks would get to anyone, unless you're a saint.

It's called, "a day on macrumors"... it happens to me all the time ;)

I'd venture to say I'm rather calm... no?

OK, went to visit with Justin. He is having a great time had has a new friend to keep him company. The weather got a lot cooler, down to 96. Time to break out that jacket

There's a lot of drama on this thread... some not so nice people saying some not so nice things! I'd hate to be on the receiving end of this stuff...

Justin -

How's the camping going, any company? Pretty hot today here in Lubbock, I'm sure Dallas was just as bad! Sorry to hear about the drunks.. you should get an airhorn and scare the crap out of them when they screw with you.

What are your plans after Thursday? Are you going to Jailbreak your phone?

And my 2 cents for the MacRumors community:

There are a lot of people ragging on Justin for "wasting" time camping out hella early for an iPhone. He says he's doing it because he's a HUGE fan of Apple products and wants to have fun and show his support for a company he believes in. Sounds like he's a lot more convicted than anybody else I've seen on this forum.. You may not agree with his use of time, but you can't argue he's a fair weather Apple fan. Regardless of what you're passionate about, the world would be a whole lot better if there were more people that followed through with their convictions rather than half assing it and taking the easy road all the time.

Like I said.. my 2 cents.

Jake

imagine justin WAS really doing this for cynical reasons?

that would be funny.. just my cynical side coming out - not dissing the guy...

humble kid, seemingly nice guy, goes online, eveyone loves him

few days go by, global media attention, website pops up

little more time goes by, that site will now be the "exclusive carrier" of his updates

brilliant dude, just brilliant -

the one downfall is that time is running out....

but all in all, i still believe he is authentic just doing his own thang

I just checked my poll and nearly 26% support giving Justin a free iPhone 4!

Cool

I think it's cool he's camping out and bringing some color to the release, but a free phone?! That's a little much.. at least from the community. Now Mr. Jobs on the other hand.. this seems to be much better for Apple PR than a drunk kid in a bar!

Steve... $199.. cheapest ad campaign in Apple's history?

Yea I agree. WE shouldn't buy him an iPhone 4!!!! But perhaps Apple will?

Holy Thread Update, Batman! I didn't read all of the pages from today.

On a positive note, we have raised a nice amount for a gift card for Justin. Details have been emailed to those who donated. The deadline to donate is 9 am tomorrow morning, Central Standard Time. Thanks!

I see Justin is working on the ladies.

Ok I know I am probably going to get flamed for it but I have to say that I would NOT want to camp anywhere near that girl in red tshirt :apple:

Or maybe to make sure the line doesn't get out of control and raid the store for iPhones before launch day. ;)

Lol. Do you really not understand why they gave him guard? The primary reason is that they knew that some people will think that this is crazy idea and develop hate towards Justin.

They could decide to physically hurt him and it would be disaster PR if news networks will say : "Huge Apple fan who came to camp a week before lunch got beaten up by some strangers who left crime scene shortly after the incident". This will pretty much destroy Apple's "intelligent customers" and whole innocent image Apple has.

Whats Up?!?! I was the guy with the white hat, backwards, on today.. Glad we got to meet... I think we are planning on camping out starting tomorrow night. Tuesday, since we were not able to reserve.. Hopefully we will be first in line for non reserved.. Will def b there tomorrow night not sure what time though, will be after the sun goes down though.

Also I DARE any of those idiots that have been fu-king with Justin to F-Ck with me or anyone with me.. Justin lets that sh-t go but I WONT! Try to kick me.. Prob wont have a chance because we stay up super late so we will be up all tuesday night probably..

People seem to take life WAY to serious. You only get one shot so you might as well have fun while YOU can..

HAHHA.. Saw her today, didnt get a chance to talk to her but she seemed nice.. Justin was giving us a hard time cause we did not start to camp out yet, he doesnt think we are actually gonna do it.. Like I said before I love my bed/ TV and electricity way to much to be out there for a freakin week.

Also to the "off duty" cop that is working security at night DO YOUR JOB AND KEEP people AWAY FROM Justin, people that are trying to "harm" him!

To the people that think Apple is "wasting" money or time by giving Justin attention Ya'll are crazy. This is FREE publicity for APPLE of course they are going to cash in on this. I talked to the manager at Apple today and she said Justin does this every time a new iPhone is released. The "security" is for EVERYONE who wants to wait in line. The night I camped out for the Ipad they had a cop working too.

Why would Apple tell him to go home? Having someone camp out for a freakin week gives Apple and the iPhone attention... People on hear have NO common sense!

Exactly! If something was to happen to Justin Apple would have way more problems on there hands. Apple loves this attention paying some cop $500 for a few days of "off duty" work is not going to bankrupt Apple..

Easy there RAMBO. You don't need to come in here with yer guns blazin'. 90% of the people in this thread are Team Justin fans and I'm 99.99% positive that no one here kicked him in the head. ;)
