I've just stated that wasn't what I witnessed. I just handed over $1,500 for a 9.7" Pro 128Gb + Cellular and an Apple Pencil. In the 20 mins that I was there, there was at least 8 others being served for the smaller Pro and most purchased a pencil plus cases.
What store was that, Point Piper in Sydney, did you see Mal by any chance.

If you're interested in using your Pencil for something other than art, I made a music app called Composer's Sketchpad that supports it. It's basically a sequencer where you can draw out each note to any length and bend it to any pitch, allowing you create curvy and complex melodic lines (guitar solos!) in a way that no other app does. It's a bit different from most other music apps in that it's not meant to sit in the middle of an audio production/performance chain, but I'll certainly be adding more power features as time goes on.

Awesome man! As a composer, thank you.

I have a question about B&H..if I buy the iPad Pro from them and it arrives defective(Or has issues later on) can I take it to the Apple store for a replacement

It's covered by warranty, but you can also return it to B&H. You have thirty days. For what it's worth, you shouldn't have any problems. I ordered two iPad Pro's and both came in boxes directly from Apple (double boxed).

Why is it that on apple product release/delivery days I always want to run out and buy one? I have an iPad mini 2 and an iPad 3 (yes the clunker), and even as it is I rarely use iPads. My iPhone 6+ gets all the use.

You don't need one... you don't need one...

I'm guessing you can be classified as more of a consumer not the prosumer.

So your argument is probably only about ~60% correct.

Picked a iPhone SE up for my wife today at the Mall store in Bristol. It was early afternoon, and they were starting to run low on certain colors and sizes. Used the trade in program to get £100 off. My wife is very pleased with her new phone.

Picked up a 64 gb space gray SE at my local Apple Store today. It took all of 15 minutes. One of the workers was surprised that some people had lined up at 9 am to get one. I asked the associate about how I couldn't pre-order one for in-store pickup. He said that's normal for a launch day, although that was news to me. BTW, I was pleasantly surprised that Apple gave me $250 as a trade-in for my 6; I was expecting a lot less.

I'm very happy with my purchase. But be aware that the iPhone 5/s cases don't really fit the SE. I had bought one at Best Buy and it was a really tight fit, as if the SE had put on a little weight compared with the 5. And the buttons don't quite line up. So I'm going to get a real SE case when they're out. (I'm not a fan of Apple's case design.)

Apple is really good at making you want things. Just try to remember how quickly you get bored of it once you buy it, or how quickly Apple cripples it with a buggy/slow version of iOS.
