wait wait wait a sec! Many of us preaaproved for upgrade by did not get into the Apple site til 10 min later than many others. Problem is we are paying for BOTH loan payments while waiting for 3-4 week shipping plus time to return current phone. I was not allowed a pickup at store option either! Yes the new upgrade loan actually starts when approved not shipped!!! Two monthly charges while waiting for the new phone! Why aren't we given a bumped up special delivery!!!?

I see the same thing, though mine is in Memphis, TN. But it says "Future delivery requested" on it with a delivery estimate still of 11/3. I assume that means that it could easily be here early, but apple has a request in for 11/3. So they'll just hold onto it until the time is right.
Same here. Woke up to order through Apple. It was successful until I received a notice that Apple was unable to communicate with the carrier. Woke up the next morning and attempted again through an email link they sent me and it was only allowing me the option to buy in full. Went back to the att website and just placed the order. Estimate is 11/3-11/10 for 256GB silver iPhone X when I completed the purchase. Have not received an updated shipping time

Mine didn't show up till this morning.
I got my tracking, and having it heldT the UPS depot that way I get it early in the day.
Apple has "Prepping to ship" Logged in UPS and it has shipped. So now I have to refresh the UPS page for a few days. BTW I preordered thru Apple app.

Nah, same as it is every year. There's a giant staging warehouse for Apple/UPS in Kentucky. Their sitting on pallets awaiting the proper start time to leave and reach you. A lot easier to prevent ship delays when it comes from central US vs China.
I would just order it through Amazon or eBay just to play with it safe and you will probably save money as well.
I did the same thing, and when it clicked to confirm it said it would be available for pick up on 11/6, not 11/3, so I got very nervous. Now tracking says 11/3 and is being held for pick up. Really hoping that's the case and there isn't any delay...
