Congratulations!! I won't be getting mine until LATER this evening when I get off work.
Picked mine up at a UPS CC this morning. There was maybe a 10minute wait.

Still shows In Transit to UPS CC
Apple.com shows Shipping in Transit
Awaiting phone call from UPS CC - front desk lady promised to call me when it is processed. Mine is on a hold for pickup.
I will probably call UPS around 830 AM to see if it has arrived & once it does, go pick it up.

Stopped by my local att store to check out screen protectors. They had 5 iphones in Black in stock and no customers. Was very tempting to buy one for the wife but she already said she would wait til next years iPhone cuz she hates switching phones. Guess those people who stop by will be lucky.

I ran into same issue. Took me about 5 min to ge through. Then the update took forever even tho it was small update.
I got it activated, but had to set up as new phone then updated to iOS 11.1.
Then I restored from latest iTunes backup. iPhone X is much more responsive than my iPhone 7 Plus.
Restore from backup went very fast. Re-set up Wi-Fi, and Apple Pay. Literally only took 5 to 10 minutes total, just re-downloading my applications now.
Yesterday I pared down to only the applications I needed and updated all apps, especailly those that were updated for iPhone X.
Sweet!!!! Loving it so far. Other than activation servers being busy at first (don't ever let millions of people in front of you!) it went smoothly.

Initial impressions are great, FaceID works great, sound is good from speakers, OLED screen looks incredible, app switcher fast.
Battery percentage is a different story, you can't display it like previously. You have to swipe down from top right to Control Center to view battery percentage now.
