Your opinions - If I change the shipping address to my local UPS Distribution Center, what time would I be able to pick up my package on 11/3? UPS and Apple have not been updating tracking yet.
It would nice picking it up early so I can do all the setup during the day.

I would not change the shipping address to the Distribution Center. Just request for a "Hold for pickup". When they receive the package they will keep it in the back and you can pick it up in person when they open. Changing the delivery address will still put it on the truck on Friday.
To be clear, they are two separate options.
It depends on the hours of your local UPS CC. Mine opens at 8am, but I've seen plenty of people on here saying theirs don't open until 1pm or later and is only open for a few hours. I have mine set to be held at the UPS CC and am hoping to get it before 10am.
Mine still stuck on Anchorage :-(

My CC opens at 8am but they don’t give out packages for pick up til 9. As someone has said in an earlier post, don’t just drive up there to the CC hoping your package is ready cuz you have to wait til they change the status saying ready for pickup. My buddy waited 3 hours last year til his phone was ready to be picked up. Don’t want you to waste your time sitting around getting anxious. I know I will be. The wait will be worth it tho. Sweet victory.
And now for something completely different: I got my first notice since ordering this morning at 2:45am. I ordered from ATT as I have done since the first iPhone. My X started out in Fort Worth TX on Sunday and will be here tomorrow.

I drove to a UPS Customer Center this morning, and changed my delivery so that I will pick up my iPX there around 930 AM Friday. I showed the front counter person my tracking # and had her check and she told me it had left Louisville around 100 AM this morning. Just got home and UPS tracking shows an import scan at Louisville at 1101 AM.
Luckily for me the front counter lady gave me her personal cell # and said if I haven't heard from her by 930 AM to call - she is calling me when the item is delivered to the Customer Center. Couldn't ask for better customer service then that!
Where I live, the UPS Customer Center allows pickups from 4-6 pm. My contact told me to come anytime.

UPDATE: I just received a UPS My Choice email that says I have a package coming tomorrow. Also, my tracking has been updated to show an import scan into Louisville, Kentucky.

Just got a My Choice email as well, although the tracking info is still fubar. I am glad I went to UPS this morning and specifically asked them to look at my tracking #. The information the agent gave me was far different from what is being represented on Apple status page or UPS MY Choice.

Here is something to ease your minds! I know some of you may have ordered through Apple for a NOV 3 delivery and are stuck in either Louisville, Anchorage, or even China.
I just thought I'd post these screenshots of previous iPhone deliveries, they were delivered on time regardless of how tracking looked. If UPS says Nov 3 and Apple says Nov 3 then there is no reason to worry. Unless that changes you should get everything on time.

Sprint only knows what APPLE is telling them. I've done this last year with the 7 plus. They delivered my device when expected. With that being said my order says it's in TRANSIT. DELIVERY for 11/3
Just checked flights from Louisville to my area. Looks like 5 flights are scheduled until tomorrow morning. Hoping I start getting an update of its departure when it leaves. That way I can verify which flight it’s on. Never have I ever tracked something this much. I’m so excited with everyone. Anticipation is getting to me.
UPDATE: For my iPhone Upgrade Program peeps, like the email said my CC was just charged the first months payment for the iPhone X.

Mine was charged days ago. Got Apple Care email.
However my tracking is still stuck on import scan in Louisville, KY at 11:01 AM.
I am glad I checked with UPS myself because I was told the package had departed there around 1 AM this morning, 11/2!
Worst package tracking event ever - but keeping the faith because it must be!

I think we originated from the flight from China to Anchorage. Tracking during this event has not been what I expect from UPS normally.
I’m still stuck on Louisville too. I think Apple wants to prevent early deliveries so they are putting a block on tracking information. I bet tomorrow morning we see out for delivery with all of the updated scans haha. If Apple says it delivers tomorrow and UPS sent out emails saying we have packages coming tomorrow then I’m not worried lol. At the end of the day it’s a phone.
