Popped into a retail store here in Wellington, New Zealand just to check it out ... so pretty :)

Well, the iPhone X starts at NZ$1,800.00 and we have no Apple Stores, nor Ikea, or local Amazon, often we're not in the first tier for tech releases, and flying anywhere costs a LOT, so it's not 100% roses :)

Indeed, the pricing is so insane. I remember when we got the 3G first and it was $649 with a contract. Now 3x as much. And I've been on a $300 Windows Phone for the last several years and have never looked back. Now with the final decline of that platform, I'm looking at cheap Android devices; the high-end just isn't worth it anymore.

This Face ID is just incredible. It just feels right, quick, intuitive.
I can't help but laugh at all the angry, indignant folk who ranted on here that they wouldn't give up Touch ID.
Touch ID was good in it's day but it's day has been and gone.
This phone is way beyond any iPhone update I've seen in the last 10 years.
Go try one for yourself...

Sounds exciting. I’ll have mine in approximately 8 hours, with any luck. Had UPS hold it for pickup so I can get it as soon as they open instead of wondering when the truck will bother to show up.

68% of Apple's revenue is generated outside of the US. The phones are made outside of the US. There are people outside of the US.

Of course there are. I'm not saying they shouldn't sell worldwide. I'm saying they should honour their place of origin by selling their flagship phone worldwide only after/at the same time they sell it in California. That's how it is for pretty much any company. They give priority to their newest and most important products to their place of origin.

Donald Trump, is that you?

Deliveries at 9am? Lucky. My deliveries always come between 2-4 in the afternoon.

Yeah, but we don't have Trump, we have something called free health insurance, a minimum of 4 weeks paid vacation, a minimum wage of $15+, work-life balance, and common sense.

I didn't realize this thread was on the political forum.
