Ok, the best case scenario seems to be that your MBP had some smaller accident and the top and bottom case got replaced. How big is your hard disc?

It was 300Gb when i bought it but i asked the shop to upgrade it to a 500Gb hdd.

I wouldn't worry it seems that your macbook is real but the case was replaced with a third party one since you said theres nothing written on it.

I agree with others that perhaps there was an accident and they replaced the case with a aftermarket replacement.

I personally would take it back if at all possible, or ask them to put a 2011 MBP case on it. If you ever go to resell it, I think it would be kind of difficult unless you find a kid.

I also wonder whether or not the case would affect getting service under AppleCare.

Thanks for the tip, that's a good idea!
Well, I can't really tell. The pics don't look good, but then I did it with poor lighting and I'm not sure how great looking are Facetime HD supposed to look like.
The pic dimension is 1080x720. So it is 720p, but how can i know if it's HD?

My iSight camera takes pictures at 640x426, so I'd say you're good.

That doesn't explain why theSeb quoted me. He should have quoted the OP. Maybe it was just a mistake, I don't know.

Oh, yeah sorry didn't notice the post he quoted. It should be the other post on the first page of the thread, at least I think....
