I don't know what kind you have but the Ultra is pretty nice.
I apologize - I thought my sarcasm was obvious. I'm perfectly happy with my Apple Watch as is, and I don't see how most of the features of a Micro-LED display would make it demonstrably better.

Battery life would be the big one, as it's much more efficient. Brighter too, but I admit that's less of an upgrade for the average user. Then from Apple's perspective, microLED should be much cheaper to produce. In theory that might translate to a small benefit to consumers, but more likely will benefit shareholders.

Me: Wants an Apple Watch that can measure blood sugar levels, blood pressure, etc.

Apple: Needs 2 years from now to update the LED display.

Really hope that their goal with this is to improve battery life, whenever it comes. Having to charge daily is very much still a pain in the ass.
I've never quite understood this sentiment. Isn't it more of a pain to have to remember which day you last charged it, or regularly check on the battery gauge? Always seemed easier to just plop it on the charger during one part of my daily routine and know that it will get through the rest of the day just fine.

Yup.

My SE 2 lasts about 36 hours, which is nice but also silly. I might as well charge it every night regardless, because charging it at random times of the day isn't an easy routine to remember.

Now, if it lasted a week, that might be different (so for example, I might no longer need to have separate chargers at home and at work), but that isn't happening.

Yup, battery life and brightness. Brightness is pretty good indoors, but the Watch gets into situation where it's hit by sunlight outdoors, and I don't mind that getting better. (Though… it's already at 1000 nits, and the Ultra even at 2000.)

I think the third component and perhaps the biggest is that this offers Apple a relatively low-risk way to test micro-LED technology at volume. iPhone is much riskier because the volume is way higher, and iPad and Mac are harder because the screens are much bigger.

I can see what you're talking about but are you really bringing the display that close to your face often?

Maybe it's worth getting the bigger size lol

I dunno, if my hands are up at my desk it's not that unnatural I guess. I have pretty good eyes and don't struggle to see it at a distance, but if it's easy why wouldn't I want to see it closer

It's also not that close where I can notice the limitations of 326ppi
