Annoy away! btw, 'middle ages' doesn't really represent. Maybe middle-aged? I mean, damn, we aren't THAT old.

that was my issue with it. it's these old dudes making a music video...its like a miniature hiroshima on camera. if you're johnny cash and you're 40 or 50, by all means, make a video. you can't be some unknown group of old dudes, making a music video, and expect it to not feel awkward for people while watching it.

i mispelt, im just giving my opinion jheez, one of those bands who cant take criticism, and it was very disturbing watching MIDDLE AGED MEN singing a song about *LITTLE* mary with women on the dance floor? i mean the song wasnt bad but the video wasnt really thought out, coulda been better, but none the less you did a good job on quality, like i said it was disturbing and funny to watch...

what was you expecting? this is absolutely fantastic? lol never that never that

add-on...especially when you're all wearing jeans like that.

2 things to take away:

-Don't ever make another music video.
-The iPhone 4S's camera is underwhelming.

Yeah. I actually have a great sense of humor (and I love your user name; which btw most of these haters probably wouldn't even know who that is).

Of course not. I was making a joke. Yes, we are middle aged (and you will be someday too).

clearly the band was listening to manchester music ca. 1993. happy mondays, inspiral carpets, primal scream, etc...

So you're saying you have to either be massively famous or a certain age to make a music video? Tell me, what is the maximum age at which to make a music video if you're an indie band? 30? 35? Your argument makes no sense, but do tell me how old I can be and still make a music video without being considered awkward.

BTW, I'm 23. Does that make me too old?

Great comment. And yes, by all intents and purpose, you are too old. :)

Seriously, this is the third video we've done and just because age isn't on my side anymore doesn't mean I have to throw it away. I know people will hate, but let me see their videos or hear their songs and then we'll have an educated discussion. Hell with all the stuff (and I'm being nice) that's popular musically today we have no choice in trying to get out there.

40-50 year old dudes wearing Hawaiian shirts and weird blue jeans are too old. i dont know the word to describe how seeing a video like that makes me feel. it's just awkward...it's very hard to watch. old people making music videos, trying to relive younger days, and then getting 300 hits on youtube.

Great job. I liked the song and the video. Hard to believe it was made using an iPhone. Looked good on my iPad.

Hawaiian shirts? Those are Indian kurti (hence, the East Indian influence in the song). Again, feel free to never watch the video again; I don't want you to feel awkward. btw, I'm not trying to relive younger days, I'm just enjoying my current days.

I approve of you enjoying your final days. Just don't take video of it, or don't post video of it, I guess.

So, by that logic, bands like Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Pearl Jam and a slew of other bands in that age range have no business making music videos because it is "awkward" for younger people such as yourself to watch? Last I checked, most Foo, Peppers, U2 and Pearl Jam fans are probably in your age bracket (which, given your comments, I am assuming you're somewhere south of 40). Hell, many Rolling Stones fans are that age and have no issues with them making videos despite the fact that they're in their 60s now.

It has nothing to do with trying to relive younger days for most bands and everything to do with still having a passion for music and wanting to pursue that passion. I am an aspiring bassist and hope to start/join a band soon. If I'm in my 40s and still have a passion for music, you can be damn sure I'm going to make a music video and do whatever else is necessary to promote my band's music. That's what a good musician does, regardless of age.

If you were famous in your 20s and 30s, then people expect to see you in videos. You're famous, you HAVE to make music videos. 45 year old unfamous people don't need to be making videos, because the only people that want to see them are them. That's not an opinion, that's good, hard science.

Yup. And you've wasted several good minutes of your young life paying attention to mine. That's good, hard science.

Good, hard science? Can you provide some references for that? Maybe a study or two has been done on this very subject and that is what you're basing your opinions off of? Yeah, right.

And no, you don't have to make music videos when you're famous to continue being famous. You don't even have to appear in music videos to help your fame. Look at Pearl Jam--I believe for a long time they refused to appear in the music videos because they didn't want to. Some bands are like that.

One more thing: there are plenty of artists/bands that have made it big after turning 40. They made videos to help promote themselves which, again, is something any band serious about making it does, REGARDLESS of age. Also, as for the only people wanting to see them are them? Nonsense. Last I checked, you don't represent everyone. Just because YOU don't want to see them, doesn't mean others don't want to see them in a video.

i dont think the people of this vid understand the real point in what i was trying to make so il say it in a way they will understand....... when a man in his 40's walks into mcdonalds with a young girl in a nike tracksuit people look and go omg thats awful and disturbing, he shouldnt be doing things like that.... in the case of your video, it seems like you wanted to have fun by having loadsa young looking girls, who were way to hot for you, too young for you, i mean what did they have to do with *LITTLE MARY* im not even sure if this song is associated with dare i say it paedophiles, go for girls your own *AGE* get a grip on your videos and start doing things more appropriately, you wouldnt go into a job interview wearing platform boots and a neon hoody.

oh and please unless your singing about christmas songs dont ever sing about little mary.... especially when your middle aged men in indian costumes singing in a dance club?? weirdos!!

Unless I'm missing something, the "young Mary" in the video looks to be well into her 20s. Age gap relationships really aren't that uncommon nowadays, and so it's pretty plausible that a girl in her 20s would go for a guy in his 40s. I'm not saying I would, but I don't have problems with other girls who would if they like him for more than just his age. To deem someone who dates a person above legal age yet is considerably younger than them a pedophile is flat out wrong. Pedophiles are those who prey on people that aren't of legal age (18). Pedophiles are not bands with young, legal age girls in their music videos.

I don't know this band so I don't know why they chose to dress a specific way in a club...but perhaps they were dressing that way to be ironic? Just because you don't understand whatever artistic angle they were going for, it doesn't make them weirdos.

Good God, with comments like these, it makes me not want to have kids. If they're gonna turn out to be kids who make such uneducated comments and dislike people merely on the basis of age, well, no thank you.

I'm impressed. Not my sort of music, but thats ok, I watched it for the video and that was pretty darn good coming from a darn camera on a phone.

A few of the shots looked like the color was a bit blown out, but that could have been the effect you were after, but it is also hard to stop without resorting to a large format camera with a lot more control of what is seen, and thats not something you can carry around in your pocket :)

Watch what you say... you won't be young forever and some day you'll be those old dudes. Have a little respect.
