Don't you know? People who will buy these things don't sweat. They're too rich. ;)
Wo do you exactly refer to? :)

Bandwerk is a great company - one more reason to get an Apple Vision Pro :)

I thought the point of the headband was to be lightweight, flexible yet secure, and breathable. That isn’t something you would use leather for afaik.
exactly this - surprised to see a leather option as the whole idea for something that is being worn for extended periods is to have it light, and breathable.... which leather certainly is not.

New kinds of rear head baldness and new types of blindness and short sightedness will be discovered after a few years of constant use. Also, users of this will clearly be identified by the big goggle imprint on their faces when not using it. They better be working on the Tony Stark glasses model or this thing is not going to take off like their more consumer friendly devices.

With AirPods it’s quite the opposite.
The regular pods and even the Pro are not customizable, but the Pro Max (or whatever that thing is named) is available in color options.

Interesting point, although I’m not sure I agree; I wouldn’t say they’re the Pro version (supported by the fact Apple named them AirPods Max, no ‘Pro’).
They’re simply Apple’s version of headphones. All Apple devices are high quality, so the bar is raised high at the outset.

Yeah I’ll definitely wait for the price to drop a ton, or for the next one. Hell it will probably happen at the same time

Apple Watch band and iPhone case maker BandWerk today unveiled a series of luxury leather headbands for Apple Vision Pro – the first third-party options of their kind for the device.

The headbands come in five different color options, including gray, brown and white, cream, beige and gray, and orange and gray. They will be made of Italian leather and crafted in Germany, accompanied by a colour-matching fabric Light Seal.

Apple will seemingly not offer Vision Pro in different color options, nor will the company offer multiple headbands, meaning that third-party accessories will be the only way to achieve a more unique look with the device.

The headbands currently only exist as a concept, but BandWerk says that it plans to offer the headbands in early 2024 when Vision Pro launches. BandWerk notes that the product is still in development, so minor design details may yet change before it goes on sale. BandWerk says that the leather headbands will retail for $159 in the United States and £129 in the United Kingdom.

MacRumors fans ... don't you think it is a bit crazy expensive, not talking about the bands, rather the device. I believe Apple should come up with the plan that, let's say you pay 1500$ for the device and you have extra payment on your TV+ plan. I know it doesn't sum up but I believe that they will not sell 0.5+ million devices as "planned" with this price tag. Looking at MacPro announcement in $ it is 6999, in € it is 8299, so Apple Vision Pro in Europe will be 4k€ plus ... That's a no go for me, 30+ years Apple fanatic. Please let me know your thoughts, I am curious.

I'm intrigued by the Vision Pro; but only insofar as developers get their hands on this tech and come up with real killer apps. I can't fathom which civilians are going to be walking about town sporting these in Q1 2024.

headbands so passe.

They should have made it virtual to go with ones Varrrrrr headset on ones iEye. Continuing with the nautical theme, any captain hooks wannabe wearing one of these would look like an idiot and would be made to walk the plank.

I still want one. Just can’t justify that price yet I’ll be saving my moneys

I think they look pretty cool, both the device and the third-party bands, but it is very hard to justify the expense… I’ll wait a couple of years I guess.
