I totally understand that... but... when you make a movie about people that millions upon millions of people already know what a person looks like... it does become more important, and the lack of resemblance could distract you from the story being told.

You cant do Abraham Lincoln without a beard.

I don't think height will be a factor . Wolverine is 5 foot 3 inches , Hugh Jackman is 6 ft 2 inches

Ugh. I just finished watching Game Change, where Julianne Moore does a stellar job with every aspect - physical appearance, mannerisms, voice - and then I watch this awful teaser for 'Dude, where's my Mac?'. What a joke. It felt like I was watching an SNL spoof on Kutcher's jOBS movie. No spoof required, clearly.

Ashton is strongly typecast as the goof, but I honestly think he can be a little more. Main example is Butterfly Effect. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

The representation of Wozniak is ridiculous, what the hell is that perm all about?

The last line in that clip, I have to say that Kutcher has the steely Jobs stare down quite well.

Looks and sounds like Ashton Kutcher in the role of Ashton Kutcher.

I like Ashton but this doesn't even come close to Noah Wyle's performance in Pirates. That other guy playing Wozniak is even worse...

Haha, the voices are the issue for me. Ashton and Josh both have unique voices and they don't really sound like the Steves which distracts from the believability of the characters.

Aston did do Steve's walk and body language pretty well though! I chuckled when I watched it and thought, haha Steve did walk like that and have mannerisms like that, nice job Ashton! I think it was more pronounced as he got older and more sick though as well as his slight lisp.

I'll watch this and the other one coming as well :)

Yeah, waiting for "Steve Jobs" to Punk someone in the movie. The actor playing Wozniak doesn't look at all like The Woz:

Why is it that Ashton Kutcher plays the same character in every movie or TV show he has ever been in? He is such a horrible actor. Too bad they couldn't find someone better. Someone like Johnny Depp with a lot of makeup.

Figured overweight actor, wears glasses, with long hair and a beard was close enough resemblance.

Ridiculous dialogue, ridiculous script, ridiculous acting. Jobs was slimmer than the actor is, and the other guy is plain ridiculous.

Not going to the theaters, I think it won't beat "The Pirates from the Silicon Valley" which was actually a pretty good film.

Wow...this is awful. Kutcher didn't even make an attempt to sound like Steve. It's like a bad YouTube fan video.

How the hell are you gonna cast a complete nimrod to portray a brilliant genius? The director should get fired and have his camera smashed.

not bad..but I still think kutcher is still not "steve jobs." The way he acts reminds me of the 70s show or any shows he had been in.

If I squint my eyes while watching pirates it's like I'm watching Steve. Wyle got his mannerisms, his energy and his passion.

Kutcher was a poor choice... it's like he's not even trying. It's like watching a movie about Kutcher.

Could be interesting, but definitely one for netflix.

Be interesting if this much criticism for the choice of actors will also apply to the other movie thats coming up, or if this movie has been singled out because its an independent and unofficial.
