Where in the article was there even a mention or implication of one being a better product?Sure they are, theres a significant price difference and people are more likely to buy the cheaper one. The fact that the lower end sells more is not an indication that it's a better product.
But does Fitbit have as many fancy watch bands? I think not!![]()
Apple really need to come out with a fitness band to compete. 30 day Battery life, sleep tracking, notifications, music control, Siri and a food database. Sold. More fitness people in the Apple ecosystem
Would never buy a Fit Bit they are cheap junk love my Apple Watch Edition you get what you pay for.Sure they are, theres a significant price difference and people are more likely to buy the cheaper one. The fact that the lower end sells more is not an indication that it's a better product.

You are right; but everyone is missing the greater point that Apple is most likely #1 in revenues.
I'm very happy with the wearable I currently have. HR, 5 days battery life, Notifications from phone ( including music, call accept / reject control ) and, importantly, waterproof - manufacturer specified.
I don't believe any Fitbit is waterproof? Water resistant yes (ie. splashing, sweat, etc.) but definitely can't be submerged as per the manufacturer I thought?
Not a surprise that Android will out pace the Apple Watch. As long as the watch needs the phone to function, the number of Android phones out there creates a larger potential pool of watch buyers.

I always say this and get shot down, but............................... GPS !
And to save anyone the time of replying that adding GPS would kill battery life, let me introduce you to something called a switch.. It's a thing that can turn something on and or off only when needed.
Like when I go for run or bike ride and want my GPS location tracked jsut for that activity - it turns on.
When I'm just wearing it as a watch, it turns off.
If the battery lasts only a few hours, it's fine.

Dear Apple,
I just spent almost $1000 USD on a new watch that has only 2 functions: displays the time and looks nice. Your Apple Watch was never a contender.
A Fitbit is very tempting and the price is right just in case I don't love it. Again, Apple Watch was never a contender.
Thanks for letting us know!
