For what it’s worth, when I got a new iPhone a couple years ago, I paired my old S4 with it. It took a week to get all my data and badges back. Thought I lost everything. Not sure why it took so long. However, with my new S7 everything came back instantly. keep us posted and I hope you are able to get everything back.
Likewise, thanks for the encouragement.

Any updates? Btw, I just noticed that all of my Limited Edition Challenge badges are missing!!!! UGH. Calling Apple support, but it's been over 2 weeks since I've upgraded.
Nope☹️
It’s gone and I’m starting again. Very annoying but I‘m getting over it.

Very sorry to here. While on the phone with Apple, I did notice the badges were on my watch. Crazy thing is I restarted both devices earlier and they still weren’t on my phone. All the tech did was install 2 log profiles so the he could troubleshoot shoot the issue. And whatta know, they magically showed up after we restarted both devices again. Both of us have no clue other than it was a pure coincidence.

he did say, sometimes it can take over 9 days for badges to re-appear, so you still might have a chance.

Thanks, I’ll hope for a miracle.

Does your old watch still show as connected? Also, it can take a while for activity data to sync to the watch and Personally I always restart my watch a couple of times as it seems to speed up synchronisation of the limited edition awards. Might be worth trying that?

Does any of the data that’s now missing on the watch show up on the phone?
I think staying “old watch still connnected” is a bad way of describing what I think you mean.

In Sources for data always keep your previous watch data. If you delete it THAT will definitely lead to loosing previous data history for: workouts, heart rate monitoring, sleep data and trends, workout data and awards.

This is something I’ve written to Apple support over the last 4 years at least 15x.

What’s worse is there is NO specific documentation related to previous source data. That is a glaring oversight by Apple Fitness team and should be rectified.
