Spatial Audio is fantastic and it also adds volume (unexpected bonus!) but there’s no bass, especially when listening to older albums like from the 80s or 90s. Even if remastered, those albums sound kinda anaemic! The custom audio set up allows for mids and highs to be boosted but bizarrely no such allowance not for the lows🤷🏻‍♂️
I’m not experiencing that.

They could design it to not fall off at the mildest of head/body movement without making users stuff it tighter than a brick in the ears. But hah, how will they do that? It's impossible! Never been done. So they will have to "invent" it. Yes, of course.

I have gear lust for studio headphones because my work as a voice actor and I have already had four; the last acquisition was the new Dan Clark Noire XO a month ago. And I think about the AirPods Pro like junk with mediocre sound and overpriced. Maybe I will give them another shot when they get to AirPods Pro 6.

It's too bad I can't wear any earbuds with any kind of silicone tips.
HIGHLY recommend the Comply brand of foam ear tips. They mold into your ears and stay in place super well, and they're not silicone. They also block more sound than the Apple included ones. They aren't as long-lived as the silicone ones, but you get 3 pairs in the package, and IMO it's worth it.

Uhhh, ok. You're comparing a pair of bulky, corded high end $1300 over the ear headphones with a set of bluetooth earbuds. I'm sure they're excellent for VO work and sound incredible, but you're certainly not going to go running in them or casually popping them in on your commute.

I'm a runner, a long-distance runner, and my sonic experience is abundant sweat and pods do not work at all. The only time I wear the AirPods is while commuting, and mostly to avoid hearing the clattering of the train and chatting of other commuters.

Exactly the use case for AirPods IMO. Obviously not for chasing the best sound in the world, but they're perfect for stuff like commuting.

And yeah, the struggle is definitely real with sweat. Some people buy little ear hook attachments to help with it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The AirPods Pro are the closest thing to perfection that Apple makes.
I would disagree - the stems are an old-fashioned design, and they don't fit or stay well in the ears, especially for an active person. They are easily pulled out (for example, when taking off a piece of clothing over your head) and the stems get in the way of some helmet straps. The controls are also quite fiddly, especially the volume control.

Not saying they aren't a great product, but far from Apple's best.

Please consider adding wind noise reduction to the noise-cancelling feature. I live in the Netherlands, where it's often windy, and I find it difficult to use the device outdoors because of this. The Sony WF-1000XM5 has this functionality, which works perfectly, so I switched to that. I hope future generations of your product will include this feature—not everyone lives in San Francisco.
