Call Recorder for Facetime or Skype from Ecamm.com!!

I love this app for facetime. It records split screen or single end of facetime calls on mac. I have some treasured video of family members who live in distant lands.

I also like ecamm Phoneview as I can offload voicemails, photos etc. independent of itunes backup. It really allows you to dig deep into your iphone.

For web browsing privacy I also really like cookie and wifispoof.

Almost forgot: KEYBOARD MAESTRO from https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/main/

i cannot live without the combo of textexpander, alfred and keyboard maestro.

they really automate repetitive tasks. i use textexpander for shortcuts of common used words/phrases, alfred for multi item clip board as well as awesome workflows that allow me to activate/deactivate apps/group of apps via function keys. and keyboard maestro is amazing for a ton of macros.

YES! How could I forget Alfred and Keyboard Maestro? Every time I switch to Windows, I am stopped cold by their lack of these kinds of tools.

Excellent article, I'm marking this thread. Some of the apps mentioned in the article and by sme of my fellow Macrumors members I use. One that comes to mind is appcleaner. Others I will look at.

Yeah I was amazed, stumbled on it by accident. It's infinitely more intuitive than doing it in Photoshop.

As a side note, I bleeding hate Photoshop in general. Some people "get" it, with all those layers and editing - it just doesn't click with how my brain works and the simplest things seem mega frustrating. That's more a me problem than an Adobe problem though.

I generally use Pixelmator now instead - I find it's more "Mac" like and it feels less clunky and resource intensive.

I am not interested in apps that are "a little bit unique". I'm only interested in those that are "very unique".

A ridiculous statement anyway. The word unique is a superlative: something is either unique or it isn't. You can't be "a little bit unique" in the same way you can't be a little bit pregnant. Either you are or you aren't.

Cirkus is a new task management / project management tool with a native Mac app
Some pretty nice workflows available and lots of customisation.
It's totally free. Early stages, but the interface is clean and simple, and a lot of pro features on other apps are available for free here - task and project templates, custom workflows and statuses. Definitely worth a look.
On the App Store https://itunes.apple.com/es/app/cirkus-to-do-task-management/id1231023580?l=en&mt=12

iOS and web versions also available, from https://cirkus.com and the iOS App Store

- Full disclosure I am a part of the Cirkus development team, so my post might be biased -
