Five things that turn you off...

So, we all have things that turn us off from the opposite sex (or the same sex, if you're "like that"), so I thought it would be interesting if we all were to share our 5 (or more, if you want) biggest things that turn us off. They can be physical traits, personality traits, habits, etc...

Well, since I started this thread, I might as well go first.
Here they are in no particular order:

1. red hair
2. hair dye
3. smoking
4. really loud voice
5. lack of kindness
 
These things that turn me off :

1. People who do not take care of themselves (i.e. extremely overweight)
2. Excessive drinkers
3. Excessive smoking
4. unintelligent
5. Do not care what goes on around them (i.e. people who don't pay any attention at all to politics etc.)
 
As TRITE as it may SEEM, I tend to find it DISCONCERTING when I meet a person and DISCOVER that they have a WHOLE LIST of items which they deem UNDESIRABLE and which they declare an inability to see BEYOND.

So MY list of THINGS would be THIS:

1) Having preferences which seem random or arbitrary.
2) Being stuck in their ways with regard to random or arbitrary things.
3) Showing a general unwillingness to accept people who either express different preferences to themselves OR who possess those attributes which they do not like.
4) Fat people.

That is ALL.
 
1. Smoking, Drinking, Rudeness, Loudness
2. Supercilious-ness, excessive cussing
3. OCD-ness about appearances, take 3 hours to make up mind
4. Cocky, Crude, Stupid
5. Constant gossipers (I like to hear about what happened to Bill and Jean too, but not ALL the time), laziness, hyperactivity

Yanno as a female I completely understand the hair dye, however someone once told me that I turned them off because I colored my hair. I devulged the information myself. I dye my hair or color it rather because I have gray and I have had gray since 16. It gets a bit rough when you're a teenager with gray hair. However I also pay someone $150 every 6-8 weeks to do an amazing job...so amazing that no one knows I do this unless they see roots. I don't get the hair dye thing, but to each is own.

My turn offs

1. bad teeth/breath
2. lack of concern for others
3. lack of ability to think for themselves
4. inability to succeed. (I do not mean "poor" I mean driven in life whether they're the best burger flipper ever or just doing what they do best)
5. back hair and too much chest hair. ;)
 
Speech:Loud, Patronizing, Scatter-brained, Overly assertive, Embellishment
Appearance: Dirty fingernails, Unkept hair, Nose hair
Smell: Overpowering perfume, B.O.,
Temperament: Moodiness, Whining, Sulking, Melancholy
Intelligence: Present, but doesn't put all their furniture on the front porch

P.S. I married a redhead. :p
 
1. Smoking (by far, number one turn off)
2. Funky Smells (bad breath, B.O., etc)
3. Laziness (no ambition, overweight, slackers, etc)
4. Foul Mouth
5. Negative Personality
 
1) Facial Hair
2) Big hands
3) Muscles
4) Ear Wax
5) dirt under fingernails

The above is my wife, jk
 
1. Short finger nails with paint (it's ok if they're long; otherwise, don't paint them).
2. Toe nails that are painted.
3. Earrings or studs in the nose.
4. A spinal vertebrae that sticks out.
5. Overbearing strong perfume that's nasty.
 
1) Smokers
2) People who think that alcohol makes them say intelligent things
3) Gossips
4) Overexpressive - think used car salesman smiles...
5) Dirty hands and fingernails

4. unnatural hair coloring
3. know-it-alls
2. people who talk too much on cellphone in public places (thinks of thatphoneguy)
1. extremely tiny/short clothing on girls/guys
 
1 smoking
2 unwillingness to learn
3 overweight, too skinny
4 generally mean/nasty
5 otherwise poor appearance/poor hygiene (poor teeth, disheveled hair, etc.)
 
1) Pubic Hair (shaven poon is ideal, but a groomed vertical hitler stash is ok)
2) Girls that don't wash their butt hole (no chunks please)
3) Genital Warts (condylomata acuminata)
4) Girls with bad gas.
5) Girls that use PCs (or don't like macs). It reflects a character flaw, imho.

3. Lacking a genuine personality.
4. Arrogance exceeding my own. :D
5. Lacking a willingness to learn and hold an open mind.
 
1. Smoking - biggest turn off ever
2. too fat or too skinny - be conscious, but not paraniod
3. girls who think they are too skinny/fat when they aren't, and go on stupid diets to get to what they think is 'normal'
4. "oh my god, like" etc.
5. dyed blonde hair. I'm a fan on natural hair (pay no attention to my avatar :p)

yeah that one is a real problem out where i live. Any further east of Melbourne than Ringwood and you may as well give up.

People who refer to being gay as "like that" Its okay to say the actual word you know.


In other news...

1) People who are skinnier than I am
2) Depending on other people too much for things you can do yourself
3) Constantly negative attitudes
4) Manipulation/games
5) Afraid to try new things

Had to look that one up on urbandictionary. Never heard that term before...

Anyway, for me:

1. smoking
2. artificially nice
3. overly religious
4. hardcore republican (ok... this might be pushing it, but I feel like there's some fundamental personality differences between them and me, and I don't like them)
5. EDIT (stolen from vniow) Afraid to try new things / anything that's different or strange... I hate that.
 
-stubbornness/closed-mindedness
-over reactivity/high strungness
-irresponsibility
-when girls don't call you back about plans (LIKE TONIGHT GRRRRRR!!!!!!)
-clothing choices (ugg boots, sweat shirts, et al)
