Thanks. BETA users for testing it with your own money. Just like you did with Apple Vision Pro.
At least two years after that for the Mac version 😁
I use my ipad strictly for drawing. I don't see a use for me to have a foldable. I think 12.9 or 13 is plenty enough size. Any bigger and I'd rather sit at my desk with my Wacom. I'd love to see foldable phones, but horizontally instead of the rumored vertical fold. I want it to fit in that weird tiny pocket on the right hand side of jeans! Not sure what market there is for a giant iPad, but let’s see, 3 years to go, a lot can and will change
I sure wish that gradual realization included the iPhone Mini.Apple gradually seems to be realizing that Mini users are drawn to the size, not the price; and want a premium experience, not a budget one.
I'll take that bet and say Apple ups the refresh rate to 90hz on the non-Pro line.Who wants to bet that with OLED they still limit the refresh rate to 60hz on everything but the Pro line
No crease is key, as is long term durability. If a crease shows up after a year or two, a foldable device would be an epic fail, IMHO.
and if your iPad Pro ran full fat MacOS and lasted two hours you wouldnt be happy either...What improvements? It’s still a pile of crap OS-wise compared to a MacBook.
You should read an old book "How Can Great Firms Fail? Insights from the Hard Disk Drive Industry"It will be useless to artists and Apple Pencil users if there is a giant gutter across the center of the workspace.
Problems with using an Apple Pencil with a foldable:A large foldable iPad will definitely cater to the Apple Pencil users (artists & the like). But for general couch & surfing use... this might be too big for some folks.
They have been already for quite some time.Apple product lines in the future is going to be a complete mess.
Now if they could have the same epiphany about phones.Apple gradually seems to be realizing that Mini users are drawn to the size, not the price; and want a premium experience, not a budget one.
