it's not on the newest fold... i think that's why everyone was worried. you can "add it" with a case, but it's janky.

I'm curious to see how (or if) Apple explains why they're using Touch ID instead of Face ID on this foldable.

This is exactly what I’m thinking. They essentially wrote off TouchId during the X Keynote years ago. So what’s the story they’re going to try and sell on any improvement over FaceID

Sounds like he’s just making an educated guess and doesn’t really know or heard anything. That being said, his educated guess does make sense so it’s a smart gamble…. And I’m sure if it doesn’t have it he’ll make up some B.S. like “they decided to scrap it last minute”

Samsung's had wireless charging rings even before the iPhone. They still don't have built-in magnetic, though. Even on the S26 line, you need a case. They also put the rings too high so that the camera gets in the way, causing them to have to release a power bank with indented corners to accommodate.

Personally, I prefer to charge with a cable normally, but when using a power bank, nothing beats having no wires (even those 1 inch wires get in the way and can get caught on stuff). And since all foldable phones have worse battery life than their main counterparts, MagSafe is almost a must.

I can live without Face ID or telephoto lens. I can’t live without MagSafe. That’s where I draw the line.
