There used to be a kolache place in the old Columbus, Ohio Airport terminal that a lot of aircrew would stop at. We used to have one down the street from us, but it has not been open for a long time.

In college, I was big on pickled herring in cream sauce.

In my experience, they go very well with cream sauce, horseradish, or dill and sweet mustard sauce.

What I do is cook the fruit sans bananas in a bit of water and milk mixture in a sauce pan halfway before removing it and introducing the oatmeal with more fluids, then serve the fruit on top or mix it in at the very end.

Made a shrimp salad for dinner tonight. Thought I would Keep it light but instead I feel like I am 3 months pregnant from the bloating I got after having the salad. Salad was great but for some reason my tummy does not digest fresh veggies so well.
Dressing was made from Olive oil,freshly squeezed lemon,salt and some dry mint. In the salad was a red pepper,romaine lettuce, spinach,butter greens,cucumbers,tomatoes,avocados and shrimps.

I don’t know how many fans of Triscuits there are in the forum, but my wife accidentally brought home some Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits to eat with smoked salmon and they are hot and delicious, good all by themselves.

It looks absolutely amazing; those fish eggs look not unlike red caviar, but I rather doubt that this is what they are.

This is unbelievable, my wife did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago when we had some smoked haddock spread to eat up.
