I was in a Verizon store yesterday and played around with the Razr Maxx for about 30 minutes. It's a nice phone and all but it still has what bugs me about Android phones, the lag. After using an iPhone ever since the first gen, I just can't get used to a phone that lags.

Check out an ICS based phone. The One X is super smooth and lightning fast.

I did. I bought the Galaxy Nexus in late December but returned it after only 3 days. I couldn't deal with the horrible battery life.

I know the Razr Maxx is going to get ICS sometime in the near future. That might fix the lag issues.

We have had two Razr Maxx's since they came out, and for the most part they are great phones. But do still require a reboot at least once a week to fix issues. I am switching back to AT&T tomorrow due to poor coverage at my house with no ETF so I will probably use my 3GS for the time till the new iphone comes out to get me by since I don't have my iphone 4 anymore.

My MAXX would not read the screen well when sweat was on it, or a dirty screen. It was very picky. The camera was only good outside, while inside sucked. Battery did last a very long tiem though!

No lag on my Maxx. people who install useless things like live wallpapers and widgets that auto update are bound to see some lag though. Don't use things that may slow your phone down if you are so anal that a .000002 second lag bothers you, simple.
