To all the skeptics and "more serene than thou" types who laugh at us for obsessively checking our order status:

You don't get it, and have obviously missed on this factoid: The more times you check, the faster you'll get the watch. In fact, if you press your mouse/trackpad/iPad,iPhone screen EXTRA hard, this too will speed up your order.

At the rate I'm going, I'll probably get my order on April 23.

I've also recently learned that checking your credit card for pending charges, and refreshing your service profile at Apple, will both expedite your order.

Holy cow, the doorbell! Is that FedEx?

I heard they are tracking who checks the status the most and the winner gets an edition watch ;)

Don't know if any of you are old enough to remember HBO's Not Necessarily the News, but this sniglet is relevant:

Ellacelleration: The mistaken belief that repeatedly pressing the elevator button will make it go faster

I wonder if the Deliveries dev will notice a sudden increase in purchases from those of us who never bothered before, but found it worth the $$ just for the Apple watch order....

I don't need to obsessively check my order status. I'm obsessively checking this forum, and I'm confident that someone will tell me within minutes if my order status changes!

hahaha..
i have the store app installed which will give me a notification when the status changes and also paid with a giftcard i have added to passbook so i can see the balance and when i have been charged..

but i still check apple.com obsessively. this is the first apple product i ordered at release.

I'm in the 4/24-5/8 camp, but the Deliveries app for me just shows "Delivery Date Unknown." It doesn't state the range.

It seems that Stainless Watches are showing delivery dates, whereas anything in the first 4/24-5/8 group isn't yet showing delivery days. We'll see when they mark a bunch of these first ones Shipped.

I ordered a stainless steel watch in the first delivery batch and doesnt show delivery day just unknown

I'd presume that Deliveries just doesn't know how to parse 24/4-8/5, though that doesn't explain why those in other date ranges are seeing dates, perhaps just something about the way Apple formats their order information.

Just so funny. :D thanks.

BTW, I know the checking the delivery status is helping I swear the hyphen between the 4/24 and the 5/8 is pulling closer. I also don't want my pre-order to feel lonesome so I check in on it daily once or twice just to say HI.

I'm guessing its something along the lines of this.

My watch just says processing items delivers: 4/24-5/8

my band says processing items available to ship: 2-4 weeks
delivers: apr 29-may 12

maybe deliveries is trying to skip the first line that says processing items and is looking for a second "delivers: date" line that isn't there
