Whatever... I am traveling and typing on the go with my NEW IPAD 2.... Apologies for the lack of correct grammar... I'm not trying to bust everyones balls, only to say if you don't like what's going on with Apple, CALL them and complain to the source, not to us, as we have our new iPads and can't help you.. There is too much emotion on these forums....jeeeez

Here's why I only waited 45 minutes in line at the Best Buy for mine. We live near a no sales tax state, so I chose the Best Buy IN the state that charges tax, near the border. While everyone else was in line for hours in the no tax state, I paid the extra $30 and breezed right through a small line.

Pure genius. So few people really understand the value of money.

What you are saying is exactly why people are mad. They did plan ahead. They woke up at 4am (1 pacific) to ensure there were no shortage problems in their order. The result for planning ahead? Having orders filled and delivered that were placed 7+ hours after theirs while they await for theirs to even be shipped.

People are justified in their frustration.

Oh no! 7 WHOLE HOURS!??!?!?! They should sue! (seriously surprised no one has brought up a possible class action lawsuit yet).

Please, for the love of god, re-read your post. If you can not find anything wrong with it, I really feel for you...

People should be justified that they woke up early in the morning to buy a toy and someone, 7 hours later, on the SAME DAY, also placed an order and got his ahead of you? Even though you're still well within the quoted time frame by Apple?

Why should it matter to you if someone got their's 30 minutes after they placed their order and you got yours on the 28th? Apple said this is when you'll get it by. You agreed to buy it under these terms. No one forced you. They did their part. They also never made a personal promise to you that no one else that orders after you will get theirs before you, did they?

I have re-read his post and found a reasonable, logical post that talks of someone being frustrated at standing in line for hours and not getting what he wanted. No talks of suing Apple, No over-the-top anger, nothing really.

How any of that is "crazy" or "unusual" is a bit beyond me.

Judging by the fact that you constantly come off as a immature child with your angry posts, I am curious if you are not simply telling people to shut up with their complaints simply to seem "cool" and "hardcore" online.
