I still use my iPad at work, but I don't take it with me everywhere I go I like I used to. Since AT&T stoped hard throttling, I don't turn on wifi anymore... which has improved my battery efficiency. Battery efficiency was one of the big reasons why I carried my iPad with me along with my iPhone.

When I first got my 6 plus I still remained devoted to my iPad mini 2. Now some things are a little different. The Mac Rumors forum was redesigned in such a way that the mobile site is a pleasure to use. And my mini hasn't yet been updated to iOS 9 and had ad blockers installed. And it has only 1GB RAM so it's showing is age a bit and the faster iPhone 6SPlus is more and more becoming my internet device of choice. It used to be that I also did my online shopping on the iPad mini 2 but the color gamut problems again make me lean more toward my iPhone 6S Plus.

I didn't favor my iPhone 6 Plus before because it was always a bit laggy and prone to get me with inconsistent odd behavior when I least wanted to deal with such things. The new 6 S Plus is a smoother ownership experience so far.

However, if I upgrade to iOS 9, or upgrade to the new iPad mini, I'll probably go back to favoring the iPad for Internet use.

I read equally ebooks comfortably on either device.

Currently trying to off load my mini 3 since I was never really An iPad guy. Grabbed the 6s+ and absolutely love it for all tasks. Mini 3 barely got used because more time was spent on the Apple Watch and ip6. Then the Mac is for serious work so all in all I'm ditching the mini 3 as it does not suit my lifestyle / workflow. Keeping the ip6 tho as a backup (still need that Jb :) ) and then my watch is my luxury and my Mac is my workhorse

Mine has for sure. We have an iPad Mini 2 (64GB), I used to grab in the evening for random surfing, looking up things on IMDB, a little FB follow up, but with my 6S+, I'd just as soon use that - it's big enough to be effective and ultra easy to handle on the sofa - and if I need a little more robustness, I'll just walk back to my office on hop on the Mac :)

I think we'll probably replace the Mini with an Air in the near future to have a notably different size/experience with our tablet.
