Has anyone tried iOS 7 with Ford Sync and does it work? I have a Ford F150 and don't want to upgrade if it won't work.

Wait... why wouldn't it work? I have a 2010 Fusion and without Ford Sync.. I... I just don't know..

Cars are notoriously finicky when it comes to Bluetooth paring with smartphones. IIRC iOS 6 "broke" the ability to pair with many vehicle makes. If I can get the kid to bed I'm going to go out tonight and try to pair with a Honda CRV.

Works fine with my 2010 F150. I have been using IOS 7 since the beginning.

They fixed most of the issues in B4. It works quite well, apart from the terrible mic implementation with Siri, but that isn't a bug, it's a design issue.

Works perfectly with my 2011 F150. Like the previous poster I've been using it since beta 1.

I've also been using since Beta 1 on my '13 Focus Ti -- no problems at all, with the original MFT SW or the updated MFT sw that came out in August.

Works okay in my 2012 Ford Focus been updating iOS7 since b1. Occasionally I need to turn off bluetooth, turn it back on, and tap SYNC, but nothing other than that.

I remember when Beta 5 broke the steering wheel bluetooth controls on my car. It was fixed in Beta 6, I haven't tried it on GM yet.

Thanks! I have a 2013 model and see in this thread that it works with several model years.

I have a 2013 Ford Edge with MyFordTouch and it doesn't work even without the iPhone iOS 7! LOL #FordFAIL.

It's just as wonky as it was with iOS 6.

My iOS 6 works fine on my 2013 Ford F150 Sync. Have you updated the sync software?

2013 ford focus with sync, it works, pretty much as good as it did with iOS 6. First few betas was kinda buggy but now it works flawlessly

works well with since beta 3, spotify, music app and phone calls, i am using a 2011 F150.
I only had issues with my camaro, while using spotify.

Ford Sync

The only think I hate about the iPhone & Ford Sync is that when the phone's bluetooth disconnects from Sync, Sync starts blaring the damn radio! I wish it would just default to Aux so that wouldn't happen. Drives me crazy (excuse the pun).

2012 Mustang with Sync. GM works fine with it on the iPhone 5 at least. So you should be ok next week ;)

If this was Beta 3 on the other hand Bluetooth would randomly get staticky. Was corrected with Beta 4 and haven't noticed any issues with Sync since.

I have a 2012 F150 with SYNC but no NAV or MyFord Touch.

It does not work with iOS 7. It won't alert to texts, read them, or send them.

It will work if you have the nav, MyFord Touch, or a 2013 XLT+. F150 that is, works fine in my mom's Explorer.

I have a Focus Titanium with MyFordTouch, and iOS 7 works just fine on the system. Make sure you installed the latest Ford update, It's a pain in the butt to do, but it fixes a lot of issues with the iPhone. I have no complaints, well except no announcement for support of iOS in the Car.

I have 2011 Edge (MyFordTouch/Sync) and some features work, but some do not (with iOS6 - I haven't jumped to iOS7 yet).

I have the newest version of Sync Software released about a month ago and it did not fix/add any components that did not work previously.

Items not working:
1) No way to activate Siri using handsfree
2) Messages are read via Sync, but no way to send new messages or replies
3) Album art and contact photos do not show on screen
