Yeah, its a man on an iMac. Who needs a MB or MBP when you can lug around an entire iMac and set up shop?!!
Looks good to me.

:D:apple::DiMacs are are designed for portability. I don't think thats what apple had in mind tho. did you see an ilugger case?
The original Mac was made to lug around in a case. Used to have one. Used to lug it around.

The iMac is much easier to carry, and I do.

You can't deny the man's got style!
Yes he does! :D

hes the MAN!!!
Yes he is! :D

that's ****in' awesome.
:D

if he is retarded a lot of us are ...
Yep.

hey!!!!!! i thought about that FIRST! i'm now preparing to go to starbucks and shooooW these noobs who'se the MAN!:D:D
Be sure to post a picture.

Heck, I carry my 17 inch iMac with an external 15 inch LCD display in a iLugger case. That way when I set up, I have the iMac running Mac OS X and run Windows full screen via Parallels on the external. A bit heavy but a really sweet setup. :)

So I think this might be the best thing I've ever seen.

I went to lunch today at the local Panera and saw this from a distance:

(sorry for the blur, its an iPhone pic)

See it? Back there?

I snapped another one closer up when he went to get another beverage:

Might be the most rediculous thing I've ever seen. I just had to share with everyone. :)

not meaning to flame, but it always bother me when someone would always type "it's ridiculous for this and that" and I would always think, "well, it's ridiculous that you don't know how to spell the word "ridiculous", I just thought I would say that.

Fixed it for you.

...And I'll just stop right there.

HMMM that whole idea of carrying around my iMac makes me debate my MBP buying decision HMMM

I wouldn't want to do this. I once had to carry a 20 G5 iMac through half the mall to get to the Apple store, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. :)

Haha thats awesome. Someone should do this and record it on video. It'd be a YouTube hit for sure! :p

it would of been great if he set up a 100lb gas generator to give it power.

I usually don't bring my MBP out 'cause I feel it's too heavy for some uses. Now I just have no excuse.

oooooops.....

Hey.. I used to have a macbook pro... but then I returned to wait for the new revision.. in the mean time.. I have taken mi imac with me on location to a take pictures at 2 weddings.. and aldo 2 other photoshoots.. I think is great beacause my clients get reallu impressed.. .. so I dont mind carrting it around...... but anyways.. i am stll getting tke MVB so I can use that instead!

cheers!

Did some website have guys bring in desktops and CRTs? :D

EDIT: Never mind; I see it's been posted.

Lol, don't we have a thread in the picture gallery for weird Mac sightings?

Two things: it seems more like one-upmanship than anything else, and two, it degrades even further the social component of going to a cafe in the first place.
If one is going to be completely concealed behind a screen, why not just stay home?
Pretty soon, people will be three tables away from one another at a Starbucks and be talking to one other through their iSight cameras.

hands down to this guy!!
he doesn't care what other people think, as long as he finishes his work..that's productivity!!
hey!! let's hire this guy! he's a workaholic!:D

Unfortunately some people sort of beat you to it. =p

I've never brought an iMac to a cafe, but did carry iMac to DJ for a few months before I got a 17" PowerBook.

I probably carried 17" MBP (or powerbook) and 20" iMac together once or twice.
