Who in the hell wants to run native Windows on a tablet?

Talk about sadomasochism. Geez.

Tons of people? you can run any games on windows on the tablet, any office apps, any programs...

dont be so shortsighted, having a native windows os on the tablet is a game changer.

If I were Microsoft, I would make THIS ad in response:

Kid: Hi I'm an Apple Genius.
Sheldon Cooper: And I'm a real genius.

....

(They go back and forth about something. Sheldon says something smart to the kid and makes him look stupid.)

It would be a HUGE hit for Microsoft.

You shouldn't of said this out loud because this is worth money!...

I've seen them during the Olympics and all I could think of was:

"Dude, you're getting a Dell."

Hey in fact... Apple is using a fairly young, nearly hipster-ish looking tech guy... APPLE IS COPYING DELL!!! SOME CALL THE LAWERS AND SUE THEM FOR ALL THEIR WORTH!!!

Wow, I thought the same thing, except they cast a 21st century Matthew Broderick.

Face it...these ads suck

The "genius" is not cool, nor is the actor any good.
The Mac users look like idiots--doesn't make one want to be a mac user.
I didn't see any product in the ad.
No background music.

One of the interesting tidbits from Jobs biography was just how much time he spent in the real world and how that equipped him for his marketing acumen. Someone at Apple needs to get out more.

The genius is much hotter than the Dell dude.

But they missed an opportunity for some full frontal nudity when they had the genius sleeping in his Apple Store uniform - he could have jumped out of bed in the buff and pulled his clothes on.

Seriously? I'll bet you're a freakin' blast to go to the movies with. Geez, don't go see Prometheus! Or Star Wars for that matter. You: "You know, there's no sound in outer space, duh."

I did go to see Prometheus, quite enjoyed it. :)

Loved the original 3 Star Wars, didn't care for episode 1, though 2 tried and 3 was so so.

Well space is a vacuum, however it would be awkward to watch a movie in silence during space scenes. :D

These ads portray negligence at its best, ill-planned so called apple users. :p

Most people don't know how to use keynote or edit photos, they're advanced things (for most people) that most people don't need to use. Just because you do know how to use it doesn't mean everyone does. I help atleast 1 person with keynote/photo editing every day.

Infact it is insulting to say that just because someone can't edit photos they have a mental illness.

Have you mentioned to these people that you help that there is a built-in tutorial in the iWork suite. However about OS X.

What happens when you are not around, what are these people going to do then? Call a Genius. Gimme a break, the tutorial pop-up the first time you launch the iWork suite. Sounds like these people you are aiding either chose not to learn or just want attention by asking for assistance. I know quite a few people like this at my place of employment.

I am all for helping, however one has to draw the line somewhere. What you are doing friend is mollycoddling and you are enforcing and re-enforcing it when you do not show someone to do it on they own.

Feed a man to fish, he will not be hungry for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he will not go hungry for life.

Which one are you to these people?

Meh

What bugged me more than anything is the stupid name badge and lanyard... A raccoon skin hat would be less distracting. I know it's the uniform and all... But their not IN Apple stores... And yes, I know it would make less sense without it, but blah...

Don't be bugged - the ad campaign is simply stupid.

I'm a little disappointed. Apple usually is the type that doesn't slam other products/people. They simply get on their high horse and act all mighty. lol.
This is becoming a presidential debate where they trash the other candidate and show they have nothing to offer themselves.

Anyone that mentions "What would Steve do?" or "How would've Steve felt?" or anything along those lines needs to be smacked in the face. Repeatedly. Then gagged from speaking about Steve ever again.

He's dead. No one should care about what he would think (because he has no more thoughts), what he would feel (because he's a rotting corpse or a pile of ashes - don't even care to know how his remains were dealt with), or what he would do (because he can't do anything).

It's just a fact - he's dead. Move on.

Steve was not about his body, was about his creativity and soul and that remains. As your post shows not your body but the little brain and anger you have inside, no one will ever mention "How would've done it" because in life you are already dead and your brain is acting as a rotting corpse.
