I was just wondering if they screen protector will work with a lot of cases or just a certain few?

It won't really work with a lot of cases, to be honest. It fully protects the glass portion of the phone, however:

Here we go with the case issue again iLoome...... bought your first offering.... NOT pleased at all. The edge of the screen collected dirt like a magnet and then my "gasket" or what ever you wanted to call it came out and then it was like dirt was sucked in it collected so much.

I paid my money for this new one but not knowing if the apple case can be used is a bit annoying. Hope I didn't just drop $30 or what ever I paid just to have it not work with the case designed to work on the phone.

Dealt with that issue a long time ago..... refunded my money but what cases will work with this new protector? It most likely wont work with Apple's case judging by what you're saying which would be a shame as that's the case designed to work with the phone.

Can confirm this does work with the apple case.....I had to slide a piece of paper under the edge of the apple case and run it down one side to get the cases lip "over" the edge of the iLoome and all is good. Love the protector...... head and shoulders above your last offering.

Hi AFDoc,

thanks for the info!
can you tell me (us) a little about your experience with the SP.
smooth glass? hows the texture of the alloy?
have been eyeballing this particular one for some time now, and you appear to be the first that has it and have an online presence.
awesome that it fits the apple case (silicone i presume), was going for that setup as well. it looks like the fit is really tight, is there a lot of pressure on the SP?

thanks in advance!

No problem.....
setup: 6+ with apple leather case in red.

Aluminum is smooth to the touch with no texture. You can feel the transition between the glass and aluminum but I didn't notice it until I specifically tested it as I wrote this. Application was very easy but I've never had an issue putting on protectors. It obviously changes the look of the front of the phone but the space grey matches perfectly so I rather like it. I'll be able to discus the silver in a few days when my wife's comes in for her 6 (replacing iloome's first offering). iLoome's customer service is top notch and they handle issues quickly.
It is what I guess you would call a tight fit but it doesn't lift the screen at all, the apple leather case actually sits over the protectors edge. I did have to slip an edge of a piece of paper under the case on one side to position it over the lip but only the first time so I suspect it was my "error" in applying the case.

Awesome! Thanks for the 'review' :)
Will see to order one, so i can finally get rid of this annoying folio case

Only issue I have discovered is swiping up from the bottom of the screen isn't quite as responsive as it was..... could be a positioning issue but there are no issues with swiping down from the top. iLoome maybe needs to give a bit more space for the screen portion.

Former: iloome CURVED Edge Full Edge-to-Edge Tempered Glass screen protector ...

Just wanted to give feedback on the protector. I ordered the 6 plus full edge protector. Applied it this morning when it arrived. It looks very nice and well made. But sadly both my original apple leather and silicon cases will not work with it. The screen glass lifts no matter what I do. I also tried to use paper to position to no avail. Will not stay down with the cases. I also tried a rinken fusion slim and normal rinken but these too would not play ball with this edge to edge protector. I did get the screen to stay down a while but slight knocking of case edges etc caused lift to occur. With most cases it seems that when installed with the protector in place they are just too tight and therefore cause lift. As a concept and naked it works very well but does not work well at all with the cases I tried with it. I am disappointed as it was not a cheap protector and it cost me a lot to get it delivered to the UK... All told, I feel that I have lost 50 dollars. :( Don't get me wrong, for someone who wants these protectors with a naked phone they are cool and fit the bill... But with cases they really are a hit and miss I am afraid... So disappointed as I really liked the protector but not prepared to use my phone without a case...

Thanks for sharing your experience. I just received mine too, and will try tomorrow if it fits with the Apple leather case.

I hope it works for you jurweer. I think it all depends on fit.. A slight mm in differences and tolerances means it will either work or not... Luck of the draw I think... You won't know until, you try, but for me this protector on a 6 plus with the original Apple cases both silicon and leather... Did nothing but cause lift of screen to some degree... Which got worse when the case edge was knocked or if the phone in its case was moved around eg placed in a pocket... Just too much tightness that's the main problem I believe.

Happy to let you know it works, all though it's a real tight fit. I managed to get it to fit by putting the top of the phone in first. Then gently 'massaged' the side of the leather case in place. Same for the bottom. The edge of the case is a little flexible, which helped to put it over the SP's edges. Work at the second try. However, the right bottom corner of the case slightly bulges as it doesn't fit a 100%.
Let's see how long it holds.

I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up in the middle of the night from the sound of the screen protector jumping cos of the pressure :)

As for the screen protector, very pleased so far! Good material, and the color matches nicely.
Did noticed that the glass is slightly smaller then the screen, hair width on each edge (for those who care).
Happy customer here! Will come back in a week to let you know if it's still on :)

Edit: hmmm now the next task is to get to 5 tiny pieces of lint out from underneath, and put it back in...

Can confirm the issue with the control center and swiping up, works if I swipe real fast.

Hi guys! iLoome sent me out a sample to review, and I was pretty impressed. Install was relatively easy and I really liked the screen feel and oleophobic coating performance. As a previous poster commented, you can definitely feel the transition from the metal frame to the glass when you swipe your finger across it, but it isn't unpleasant--just noticeable. As there are two different materials involved, I think it is unavoidable. Here are some pics and my YouTube review/installation. Note: they sent me out a gold version, and my 6+ is space grey, so there isn't exactly a fantastic color match here, but you work with what you have :)

Looks horrible. Dont like the way the protector overhangs on the edges of the device.

I just think it's time to accept that there will never be the perfect screen protector for the iPhone 6 or 6+.

You haven't heard about imos or cinder I believe

I have but I dislike the painted underside of the protector. Makes the display seem further away from your finger and just doesn't look right.

The perfect screen protector IMO is a clear protector that is edge to edge but I realise that it will never happen as the curved edges of the glass differ slightly from phone go phone.

I had the clear curved tempered glass pre ordered from Canaloo however they had problems with it so never received.

I'm tempted to buy one but I have the rock case and spigen ultra hybrid case . Would like to know if these cases will work before I purchase one

Does anybody know how much thicker the Screen Max is on the iPhone 6 plus? I have the iPhone 6 Plus 5.5in (Onyx Black) Screen Protector - Premium Tempered Glass now. It has a crack and for the life of me I don't know how. I didn't drop it or bang it. I also the have the Piel Frama iMAGNUM iPhone 6 Plus Leather case. Awesome case, just was wondering if the max would fit like the other iloome?

Thanks, Jerry

Hi,
Just put the Max on my iPhone 6 plus with the Piel Frama iMAGNUM iPhone 6 Plus Leather case. No problems what-so-ever. I have the first iloome came out for the 6 plus. I really liked it, until for no apparent reason, it was chipped on the top and it was in my case. So far I'm liking the new Max!!
