Taken @ Lake Hauroko in New Zealand's Fjordland's National Park.

Image taken with a Canon 5D MKII - Canon 17-40mm 4.0L USM - Tripod - Neutral Density filters. Exposure was 30 seconds.

New Zealand is simply amazing for Landscape photography!

My perspective on "perspective."

Here's another perspectivish photo.

This image is what I expected to see for this category. I love the contrast of lights and darks. Nice job, johnnj

My contribution: I was cruising my neighborhood, enjoying spring, when I spotted a home with this fence and several gardens of tulips.

Here's the last lighthouse picture I took. I went for a minimalist view of it with this framing.

Love this photo - beautifully minimalist.

At the risk of filling this thread with upshots of lighthouses/towers, here's my submission, taken at the decommissioned power plant at Thorp Marsh, UK

Nice photo. I like the colors. The contrast between the flower garden and the fence is great. Nice use of perspective.

This photo has great possibilities. I think I would like to see the center of the corridor a bit off center, and maybe a more unusual point of view. Maybe low to the floor to exaggerate things more.

This is a fun photo. Nice capture of action from a good low perspective. We see a lot of shots like this of dogs and such, but the viewpoint sets it apart.

Mine.

Thanks Dale! That is a sculpture in front of a public library in Sarasota, Florida. The "inscriptions," for lack of a better word, are in many different languages. I shot this with my Nikon D40, Sigma 10-20mm at 11mm, f/9, 1/250th, ISO 200, and converted it to black-and-white in Aperture 3 (along with a few other tweaks).

I actually have another shot of the first floor Infinite Corridor, shot from the bottom steps of the other end (so a bit lower, but not floor level).

I love this angle on the corridor. I especially like the railings in the foreground on either side.

I love this ... I'm always a sucker for a great sky and a water view, even if the water is mostly just a hint, as it is here. The stairs invite me to more in forward: What is on the other side of the landing, and down the stairs? I wonder if this would have shown the perspective even more, if you had moved slightly to the left, so that you could have caught more of the sun on the railings? Either way, I do love this photo.
