Forum generating duplicate, triplicate, quadruplicate email reply notifications

is it a good sign that people haven't chimed in? Or has everyone unsubscribed? 🙂

at the risk of rocking the boat. I've made some changes back, to isolate what setting it was. I'm pretty sure I know, so let me know if it is happening again.

Also, for the affected people, are you using spy?

I havent gotten any duplicate notifications since yesterday at 3:26PM MST. I haven't even gotten a duplicate of a notification for this post.

I consider myself an affected person. What is spy?

Edit: also a somewhat relevant issue: sometimes, I do not get notified for a post on a thread where my notification "setup" for that thread is to send me immediate email notification.

By spy I mean spy.macrumors.com

I've also done something just now that may cause the problem to come back. If so, let me know. I just need to double check.

I only got one copy of a notification informing me of this post, just as it should be! *Fingers crossed* 🙂
 
It was better all day until tonight. I got 2 double replies. Nothing from this thread though.
