forums slowdown?

I'm not sure what's going on but only about every fifth page loads for me. Maybe one of the servers went down. 😕
 
I tried to get on macrumors after school, and it took me about 15 tries! I got so excited thinking that maybe the MacBooks had been released.
 
I haven't had any problems all day. Only 885 people online...shouldn't be taxing the servers too much.
 
Arn said earlier today he's been having some issues with the search feature so maybe something is slightly off. I don't know if they could be related to each other or not. He said he'd work on the search issue in the next few days or so.

But, for the record, I haven't gotten the server is busy message anytime in the past few days.
 
Is just the forum section slow, or is it the whole site? For the record, I haven't noticed any slow down or outages so far, but I'll pay attention and tell you if anything unusual happens.
 
The main page and the forums are on different servers. I've only been having problems with the forums, although I rarely use the front page so it could also be having issues for all I know.

It's incredibly boring there. They have to have something to do. There is a reason why it's nicknamed Misery.
 
my bad... I was doing some server stuff last night that caused problems.

hopefully won't run into it again
