Why don't you just 'manually manage music and video'? Then you can just drag and drop your tunes without needing to sync at all.
Umm... I hate to ruin all your hard detective work, but even *if* this was real, he still would have used photoshop to cross out his email address. So your super-clever find means nothing. You fail.

Thanks for this tip. This sounds like a way better solution. Now there will be no practical reason why I would need to sync anymore (well, at least once a month maybe).
Stop at look at these pics the OP posted... It took him an hour to save the file and open the iPod app.
PS... He has Chris Brown on his iPhone... So you KNOW he can't be trusted... Now I have to duck and cover just incase he tries to hit me.
see, he got it working, and photos automatically open in Photoshop rather than Preview on my Mac, so when I go to save the file(after I crossed out my email) it is saved as a PSD.
Sorry, the top picture is out of focus compared to the bottom picture. The bottom of the top picture is also tapered - both of these lead me to believe that the top photo was cropped.

Of course it will show up in your iTunes music on your iPhone; you can clearly see he has other songs on that album form that artist, so obviously he'd already have that song on his iPhone...
I can see Ego and Halo, all apart of the same album....
and like I'd really be able to do a complex and hardcore editing like this in Photoshop Elements, these photos are not edited, I only simply covered my email address.
I call Photoshop!!! These images have been Photoshopped. Look at the crops I made out of the original images. You can see where they've been Photoshopped quite easily. If you look closely, you can see lines crossing out email addresses and circles around certain track names. What a faker!

hahaha I was thinking the same thing when the other guy posted the exif. Duh they've been photoshopped! I'm glad that the iPhone doesn't do a stupid squiggly circle on my music or a weird blob over my emails.
that's illegal, I'm pretty sure Beyonce's songs are copyright, I'm not allowed to distribute her songs.
If this does indeed work.... can you post any more info about what you did? What type of file is it? Where did it come from? How exactly did you email it? How come we can't re-produce what you did?
This guy is clearly lying. Several of us have Beta 2 and it does not work. There is nothing special about that song. If he has Beta 2, then it is the same that we have. He didn't get some special version.

He's not even using beta 2 because there's no magnifying glass at the top of the ABC list on the right side of the iPod screenshot. Therefore he's not running 3.0 beta 1 or beta 2.

That is different because MMS is tied to carrier settings. For instance, people had to get MMS enabled on the account. This would be a software only feature and would for everyone if it it weren't FAKE. People don't have mixed results on copy/paste, playing music, etc.
