Installation is going to be tricky. If it doesn't go on perfectly, I would think the thin curved edges will break or chip. Like a hard contact lens?

I ordered

Wearing nothing until then or until I can't go without any longer.

It is liberating to go naked...

can't agree with you more

Quick updates guys:

We'll be working on a tempered glass that will work with Apple leather case and silicon case as you guys have expressed desires for a tempered glass screen protector that are compatible with it! It'll take a while, but we'll be sure to let you guys know once it's available.

Thanks for all the input guys!

Thanks, can you check if that config will work with the Speck CandyShell Grip case too? They seem similar and Speck sells a lot of cases.

We're not totally sure at this point, but we do have a 30-day No Question Asked return policy, so you may go ahead and check that out if you'd like :)

Sorry I couldn't give you a more concrete answer, but I don't want to give you a wrong answer.

WOW!! Apparently the iLoom will NOT work with the official apple case! Bonehead move iLoom......

See above.

Hi,

Good news:

Apple leather and silicon case WILL WORK with iloome ScreenMate! We found this out yesterday and our testing previously was based on a defective tempered glass, so there's that.

Sorry for the incorrect information for the last 3 weeks. I'm really embarrassed about this.

I will post pictures sometime this week for you guys! :)

Great but a $60 screen protector is almost useless.

What does price have anything to do with how useful something is? And where did you see 60 USD? As far as I can tell, the Imos tempered glass protector is not for sale yet. If you go to their website, others are available at 60 RM (=18.37 USD).

I have ordered one of the glass screen protectors with the Corning edges and it cost me ~13, I should get it by end of this week so I will post some pics...anyways I brought it directly from the factory in china that made them.

Got the iloome in the mail today. It does NOT curve at the edges. It has slightly rounded edges around its straight Form that resists chipping. Disappointing. Probably wait for zagg or someone else to actually do something right if you haven't ordered it already. Good quality protector and easy install but... feel like there was some false advertising.

Do you have a link to where you ordered from? Very interested in how good this product is.

Not trying to bash you at all but and I am not interested in the iloome as I don't like the idea of the gap being filled with silicone adhesive, BUT they were VERY clear that the glass was straight and not shaped to the iPhones curved screen. Just saying.

Eloquently phrased. Thank you.

Did anyone try the Spigen Flex HD Screen Protector ?

...mine arrived the other day but have not had a chance to put it on yet.

Its a 'wet install' type protector and it does indeed provide 'edge to edge' protection (it covers the area underneath the home button).

What makes these different from the Zaggs and BSE are the fact the HD Flex does NOT have that 'rubbery' feel, nor does it have that 'orange peel' effect either. It feels like a standard LCD flimsy style protector - the product details state that it is a 'non-yellowing thermoplastic urethane film' and it actually feels really nice to the touch (not rubbery AT ALL!).

I also have a Tech Armor tempered glass shield on its way so when that arrives, gonna decide between that and the Flex HD (currently using a Spigen Crystal clear screen shield, which, although does not go 'edge to edge', it is surprising good - very smooth and seems to keep the fingerprints at bay as well).

I just installed today. It is edge to edge. And it is very clear while the screen is on. When the screen is off there is definitely an orange peel look. But it has only been a few hours so I expect this to improve. The feel isn't bad, also considering it's fresh. Slightly orange peely, but there are worse.
Switched off a zagg HDX for this. And I did like the feel of the HDX but not the minimal coverage.
Hopefully the Flex will cure nicely and smooth out some.

...any idea if the official Apple leather case will fit on your phone, with the HD Flex on there (as the HD flex goes to the edges of the screen, I'm worried the leather case will cause it to lift at the edges)?

I wouldn't even guess on that one. Sorry.
I will say I took it off. Didn't like the texture. Too many bubbles. Just not my cup of tea. Put on a BSE and it's pretty nice. Edge to edge, clean, glossy. Feels ok too.
