It would have been nice if the surface inside was angled downwards, so you could use it as a stand basically and actually see the Watch. But I’m just here to be picky so ??♂️

Nice find -- I liked these as well (but never owned one). One question, though: A couple of years ago, Apple quietly updated their disc-shaped dock (the round dock sold separately from the AW) because with changes in the watch body over time, the original was no longer exactly centered on the watch when used in nightstand mode (with the result that the original would occasionally fail to charge the newer watches). Wouldn't this have the same issue if used with a recent watch?

It was a little on the expensive side for just a box, but its extremely unique and I've always wanted it.
This is a nice option for pre-6 Apple Watches at 1/10 the price. Nowhere near as attractive looking. I’ve had mine for years, and it also acts as a backup battery for other devices, though it’s battery bank size is wanting for today’s phones, etc. On my AW7 the lid will punch down the watch stem and keep it depressed. I may be able to carve out a divot in the lid, or I just use it with the lid unzipped. I don’t really need to store my watch in it as I always am wearing it.

They actually upgraded the charging on the S6 too. These details tend to get glossed over on the forums.
Yep - had slightly faster charging. The S6.

I think what tends to happen is that when a new watch comes out some folks tend to be dismissive of the features and try to downplay them for whatever reason.
